Just bought a PS3 - Game suggestions

I finally bought a PS3 so I can have a BluRay player. I prefer the 360 but I'd like to know some of the can't miss PS3 exclusive games so all of your suggestions would be great

Already bought:
- Uncharted
- Uncharted 2

My list so far:
- Little Big Planet
- Heavenly Sword
- Heavy Rain
- Metal Gear Solid


and that's basically all I know about PS3 games

The only one I know for sure is Little Big Planet. We've got it, and it is a quality game.

But it is kind of kiddie-fied. The kids just their creativity to customize the characters and and create new worlds.

But at the heart of it, it's just a 2D scroller with good graphics.

I'm not sure if you will be into the two I'm about to suggest but MLB The Show 11 and Gran Turismo 5 are really good exclusives

I own Gears of War on 360 and I also own Nba 2k on 360. 360 will always be my main gaming console, I meant games that are exclusively and only available for the PS3, like Uncharted and Metal Gear Soild

MLB the Show 11

The Show is only available on the PS3? Huh, I didn't know that. I don't own a baseball game yet (I bought MLB 2k10 last year and barely played it, I traded it in) but I would like one

I second Heavy Rain. Great game. One of the most memorable games I've played in a while now... I absolutely love Quantic Dream and their games (been a fan of them since Omikron).

I like how they save over the game so often that you really can't go back and redo things if you don't like what happens. If it happens it happens and there's nothing you can do about it. :thumb:

Rachet if you're into 3D platformers, Killzone 3, GT5, Motor Storm, Socom 4 is out, or is coming, and there's also the Resistance games, and Time Crisis. Also Heavy Rain was a HUGE dissapointment.. There's not much to the game at all, I found it annoying that you have to keep moving the controller around. It begs to be on Wii.

Heavy Rain is an awesome game. Don't let the controls change your mind. If you have a problem moving things around put it on an easier setting. The story is great and it was well worth the buy. I already have a 100% completion on the game and I still play it nearly every day because of all the different possibilities in the game.

Don't try the demo of the game as the demo was placed in a rather bad area of the game (as in not a lot of excitement at those spots). The makers should have made the DLC the actual demo as it shows what makes the game so great - the possibilities.

It's not about an easier difficulty, it's just the fact that the motion sequences are so assinine, cryptic, and offer no real purpose. There are 17 buttons on the PS3 controller, since when should you have to wave your controller around just to do simple functions? It's ridiculous. They could've just kept it simple and used QTE's instead. The motion sequences are highly unnecessary in this game.

I don't know about you, but it made me feel more in the game.

Just jamming buttons all day to drive a car doesn't really put me in the game. Now, turning the controller like a steering wheel goes a long way...

That can also be a problem if the game is bugged. I had nothing but problems with my copy of Heavy Rain. Still, I liked what I got out of it.

Personally, I love Assassin's Creed 2 and Brotherhood for the PS3. Plus Rock Band 3.

If I had a PS3 I'd probably buy Motorstorm and Demons Souls.
