      Where is Arnold Schwarzenegger?

Can we be honest and real here? How can you not go with Leo on this one? I know! He's young and was in Titanic. Just think about it for a minute though. He is SERIOUSLY good and engages himself into difficult roles like no other I've ever seen. Eastwood, Brando and De Niro are great actors but lack the versability and ability to truly adapt thoroughly.

I'm by no means a fan of Leo but I see no other way here. His performance in Revolutionary Road, astonishing. Ignore the score, the reviews, the movie plot. Look beyond all that and observe the way he goes about his role in that movie. Second to none, let me tell you.

      Best performances, alltime - Actors:

      1. Revolutionary Road, Leonardo Dicaprio as "Frank Wheeler"
      2. Citizen Kane, George Orson Welles as "Kane"
      3. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, Paul Newman as "Butch Cassidy"
      4. La Strada, Giulietta Masina as "Gelsomina"
      5. Harvey, James Stewart as "Elwood Dowd"

      Best performances, alltime - Directors:

      1. Mulholland Dr., David Lynch
      2. 2001: A Space Odyssey, Stanley Kubrick
      3. Requiem for a Dream, Darren Aronofsky
      4. La vita è bella, Roberto Benigni
      5. Det sjunde inseglet, Ingmar Bergman

Well, I can't give you "best actor" but I can give you "favorite actors"!

        Dennis Hopper
        Gary Oldman
        Edward Norton
        Gregory Peck

        Christopher Lee
        Sean Connery
        Vincent Price
        Benecio Del Toro

Ditto. Sadly, most of my favorites are gone. #1 on my list is still a busy actor, though, as he approaches his 89th birthday.

        1. Christopher Lee

        2. Peter Cushing
        3. John Wayne
        4. Charles Bronson
        5. James Stewart

        6. Paul Newman
        7. Joel McCrea
        8. Randolph Scott
        9. Clint Eastwood
        10. Steve McQueen
        11. Henry Fonda
