It looks like Marvel is trying to save a great Comic Book turned HORRIBLE movie franchise and it looks like they are going to do it right this time so far from what I've seen from screen shots and trailors it looks awesome

Marvels got nothing to do with it. They sold the rights to the movie franchise to Fox a long time ago. And no, they are not trying to do it right. This movie has nothing to do with the first class of X-men. It's merely Fox looking to rake in millions of more dollars on the X-men name.

Agreed, somebody couldn't pay me enough to sit through it. Though I do like Kevin Bacon and James McAvoy. They won't draw me to the "movie" though.

All you'd expect from an X-Men film (or spin-off, or prequel), but not all you'd hope for. It smacks of rush and compromise, but there's thankfully enough to make you feel optimistic about the series' future once more.

Me too personally, and I didn't care for x-men 2 or 3 personally the main thing to keep in mind is you can't view ANY x-men movie and think it's going to closely follow the comics, if you have to have it fit screen for screen with the comics read the comics skip the movies. As a movie it was very entertaining honestly.

At first I tought it was the real first call of the x-men:

-iceman
-angel
and the doc....

it more like hte doc with all his future evil foes....(have not seen it)
