I just saw it. I liked it, but I've read too many comics in my time to just "accept it as what it is"

If you're gonna make an xmen movie, make an xmen movie.

Aside from kevin bacon and the great special effects, this movie was garbage imo.

Yes, that is what it should have been for sure.

Eh, you liked it but except for Bacon and effects it was garbage?

I can understand how some people can't separate the movies from the comics, though. Personally, I could enjoy it on its own merits. (And I loved the cameo from Wolverine!)

Yeah that looks bad. 6/10, it had enjoyable parts. "Garbage" was a little harsh but that's when the disappointment was just setting in. It set a nice stage for future movies, I suppose, but those will never sit right with me since cyclops, jean grey, and the ACTUAL Angel (seriously she couldn't have had a different name?) weren't in it.

They shouldn't even have made beast blue in this one, imo, if they're going to do more movies in this universe.

well it doesn't fit the comics but on it's own it's a great movie

like kick-ass is awesome, but it has a major change from the graphic novel which kinda ruined the ending for me

He doesn't become the blue beast until later in the comics.

yeah your right , I went back (I my head) and there was this D'oh afterwards lol

some timesI wonder why they did not pursue the X-men film serie like X-men 4 time of the phoenix or something...or maybe they are just waiting for all the franchises to be established and then do a mega cross over film ?

Like in :x-men-avenger and fantastic 4 against the Shiar and the phoenix ?

                    I didn't think it was great... i'd say a 7.4/10

I didn't like the whole paralysis thing.. I mean, really??? is that the way they had to let it happen?

                    god that was dumb.

also, didn't we see a flashback in another movie of doc and magneto recruiting jean... and doc was bald and could walk...

                    just doesn't fit

I haven't seen First Class yet, but if you're referring to the scene in X-Men United, then I'm frankly glad that they aren't acknowledging that flick, because it sucked out loud.

compared to most of the other crap that has come out recently, i would say this movie was pretty decent.

then again i am not a comic book geek

Yah, I was surprised. The X-men Series went downhill especially with Origins. In my eyes though this new movie was redemption.

i would like an Apocalypse movie in my lifetime. It would have to be directed by chris nolan, or spielberg, or me. someone who would actually take the time to do it right.

                              Or an Onslaught movie.
