Cool Idea I Had

I know it's probablly been thought of before but I was thinking of it as I was watching a DragonForce video called Operation Ground and Pound. It's intense. It's crazy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ywxm6zLEjFY There's the link but for those who don't like DragonForce or whatever, basically the idea is that the members of the band are playing a videogame but they themselves are in the video game.

How cool would that be?!?!!?! I mean seriously, like if you're playing like a Star Wars game you could just pop right in there, and it would be you on the screen!! I'm not talking virtual reality, but like if they image copied you and put you into the game and then you were the character for that game. Talk about good graphics no?

Is this type of idea ever going to be possible? Thoughts, comments?

Yeah because it took years before hackers actually gave a damn about the PS3

There's also the fact that the 360 was out a year before the PS3, so most hackers were dedicating their time and resources into cracking the 360.

PS3 when it came out was $600 with no games. Of course there was Linux, but it was far too expensive for hackers to even care.
