  • Deadliest game character

Everyone take two video game characters, list them, and give your opinion on which one would win in an all out battle!

  • #2
Simple Master Chief and Noble 6

Both will fight to the death, but Chief is just all out beast, if you not only read the books, but played the games and watch the movie. You understand that you just can't beat this guy.

Same can be said about 6, he single handedly fought 4-5 elites, and made sure the Pillar of Autumn left Reach in time, in which Chief was sleep on.

My reason for picking Chief over 6 is because of Chief's history, and the fact that he is just thrower and has better weapons. Dr. Hansley compared 6 to Chief, but didn't say he was better than Chief, and of all people in the Halo world she knows what she's talking about, she started the Spartan program, and hand picked Chief.

I say this is very close, Chief wins in a very close battle, much like he does in the series(books, movie, game). He always finished, while have few trouble.

I almost had Spawn, Snake, and Kratos vs Chief, but Chief would destroy Snake, Kratos can be beating by War(main character from Darksiders) and Spawn was not really a video game character.

This is my opinion and my battle, I'm sure allot will disagree, but hey this is my battle and who I think is better.

        Dante vs Sonic

Dante would refuse to fight a blue hedgehog (so not cool) and Sonic doesn't actually have any lethal moves (not that it would matter), so it would turn into a battle of cool-guy quips. Dante wins because he's not a blue hedgehog and thus sounds slightly less lame cracking one-liners.

PS. Seriously though, Dante would probably kick everybody's ass.

        PPS. @InsaneBlaze, that would be a pretty one-sided fight. MC is a Spartan-II, Noble 6 is a Spartan-III.

Both Noble 6 and Chief are "Hyper Lethal" so technically they're equals on the battlefield. I think Noble 6 would win simply because he showed more impressive battle feats, where as Chief had more accomplishments. It also took four elites plus an Arbiter just to finish Noble 6 off.

Alcatraz Vs. Chief would be a good fight. Of course Alcatraz in the Nanosuit only.

Ezio could beat Dante pretty easily imo. That would actually make for a good fight.

Bear in mind that Dante isn't human and stabbing/shooting him wouldn't do much.

"Hyper Lethal"? All I know is Noble 6 is fundamentally slower, weaker, and smaller than MC. The Spartan-IIIs were created to be cheaper and more expendable (so far as Halo canon goes) whereas the Spartan-IIs are vastly more powerful, but riskier and more expensive to create. I don't think it'd be much of a battle if they were just slugging it out. Noble 6 would break.

Keep in mind the time periods and what was done before Chief was even a Chief.

Him and 2 squad mates single handedly took down 2 Hunters, without any support, inside a museum.

While 6 may have fought off Elites, Chief didn't really get the chance to try, seeing how in Halo 2 you was on the same side as the Elites.

Chief and Noble 6 are the only spartans to ever be considered "Hyper Lethal", meaning they give basically the same performance on the battlefield. Both Spartan II's and III's have the same core augmentations as well.

Also, I would say from past evidence that Chief is more breakable than Noble 6. Chief falls from the atmosphere at the beginning of Halo 3, and his armor gets locked up, and he couldn't even move. N6 falls from an exploding ship in space, all the way down to Reach, and gets right back up and starts running uninjured. Going by that, I would say N6 is more durable than Chief.

Even though Spartan II's are better trained, and are faster and stronger than III's, Noble 6 has MJOLNIR Mark V, which doubles your physical strength, and makes your reflexes 5x times faster. That evens the playing field.

I still think N6 takes it based on the feats he showed in Reach. And going by the books aren't a fair comparison when comparing N6 and Chief. Bungie stated Reach isn't based on the book in anyway, so the only way to fairly compare them would be games only.

Chief suit locking up, is a suit malfunction, not a Chief screw up.

It's a matter of opinion since then canon is a bit up in the air right now. I don't think it'd be much of a competition. IMO
I mean, just looking at the basic (and only) set-in-stone stats, MC has a much higher body count and is still alive.
And as everyone who played CE upon release knows, he's much more awesome.

It's still something N6 could easily take advantage of. And it'd be more likely that that "malfunction" will occur with Chief's armor, than it would N6, who like I said, can survive a fall from space without silly armor lockups occurring.

Remember, we don't know much about N6 aside from him being a hyper lethal spartan, and a new recruit to Noble Team. That's why I say he needs another game, or a book to justify his past.

Everything I listed were set in stone facts btw, I took what I knew from the book and the game, and compared it with Chief. I've played all Halo games, and I think Chief is a pretty lame character, mainly because he's too lucky, he's just not that interesting at all. Also, Chief is only alive because N6 was able to hold off a horde of Convenant basically by himself.

The way you make it sound, it seems they could've just plopped a random Spartan III out there to do the job, but obviously that wasn't the case as the rest of Noble Team got picked off pretty easily, while N6 was the only one who put up a good fight.

I guess this fight will have to be put on hold until we hear more about N6.

Until then, give me Alcatraz over Chief

The only problem with that is, they don't use the same armor.
