If SI has a special to get Madden for free with a years subscription like they had the last two years, I'll get it. I will NOT pay full price for this game. I might rent it or something, but I'm done buying Madden.

McDaniels Traded Hillis for a QB that doesn't even get play time Brady Quinn.

Once again, EA fails miserably to improve upon their last game, and once again, I'm not buying their product. They hype up so much BS that no one cares about like scratches on helmets, and they won't even fix the franchise mode.

No thanks. I'll be spending my $60 on good games, not rehashes.

May I ask what is wrong with Franchise mode? Superstar is a shell of its former self, but what's up with Franchise mode?

Well for starters Madden is suppose to be a football simulator, meaning realistic.

Franchise mode, is suppose to let you play as the owner of the team, and do things the own does. For one you can't do mid season firings or hirings on coaching staff or front office, winning the Super Bowl is kinda lack luster. It's not as nice or cool as the NHL Stanley Cup or NBA 2k11's finals championship.

The game itself plays like the rest of it, which means it's not fun, at the same time roster updates should be able to be included into the franchise, instead you have to start a whole new franchise just so you can have the roster update in your mode.

Drafting sucks, can't trade future picks like you can in the NBA 2K games, scouting is inaccuarte, you'll see that someone ran a 4.2 in the combine but their speed will only be 88. No variety in transactions, and it just doesn't feel like I'm the actual owner of the team.

There are so many things wrong with it, and even if you win the Super Bowl, there's no sense of accomplishment. Their should be analyst predictions like their was in Madden 07's franchise, that was pretty realistic. It's just broken in several ways, and I'll never buy a Madden game again until they improve it. That's all.

I think you're spot on. However, from what I have heard, franchise mode WILL be getting a lot of attention, they just haven't mentioned anything about that yet. But who knows. They say things will be fixed every year, but they never get it right. I love simulating 20, 25, 30 years in franchise mode, building my team in the draft, checking stats, etc. and one thing they NEVER get right is the stats. This year, it's cornerbacks averaging 20 or less tackles a season, while a few years ago, it was 20 running backs rushing for 1,800+ with a couple going over 2000 every year. But admittedly I am a sucker for Madden much like other people are suckers for Call of Duty. I will buy it every year.

I think the wildcat is broken, actually. I never run them anymore, because every time I did try to run a wildcat play, it would either be for negative yards, or I'd barely get back to the line of scrimmage. And don't even attempt a wide receiver reverse, as it's a guaranteed 5 yard loss.

Also, I know it's just a video game, but the computer just straight up cheats. Let's say I come out in a shotgun formation, 4 wide set with the half back in the back field. I choose a draw play, but instead of the computer lining up with 4 corners on the receivers like they should, it's just the 2 corners on the outside, with the outside linebackers either behind the d-line or they drift over to the 3rd and 4th receivers, but instead of covering them on the play, they are just waiting to tackle my HB. The computer should come out with a defensive set to match the offensive subs, like actual teams do it. But because it's a computer that knows what play you pick, it's extremely difficult to catch them off-guard.

I just want them to fix the AI. Madden is fun when you play against real people, but against the computer it is total balls.

They need to make AI that is hard because it's smart, not hard because it cheats.

Every time I run Wildcat all my lineman are pancaked as the ball is snapped. It's just ridiculous.

Also, I can't go a game without fumbling 10+ times. Even on the weakest arm tackles where the defender barely gets a hand on my guy, he somehow fumbles. And this isn't with Knowshon "Fumbli****

Wildcat is kindna broken, though I love to use it against my cousin when we are playing. I love killing him with Tebow on running plays. On my franchise mood, I rarely get yards on wildcat, but for some reason my longest run was from the wild horse formation.
