Solid Snake never got old to me. Good characters are good characters. I like Ezio and his story line. However, I do look forward to a change at the same time

I agree, Ezio is a good and interesting character, so I don't mind playing another game with him.

And to add to your MGS point, we got to play as other characters in those games as well, not just Solid Snake. We got to play as the Cyborg Ninjas, Raiden, and on MGS portable ops, we got to play as Null, and a few other characters.

As long as the character is good, interesting, and cool, I don't care how many games they're in. Plus, in this game we also play as Altair and Desmond. Revelations will revolve around all three assassin's, it's not all about Ezio this time around.

Ezio isn't all that old. In AC2 he's 17, but by the end of the game he's 27-28. In Brotherhood he's around 30. I wouldn't call that old. Also assassins hit their prime around the age of 30, it's when they acquire the most experience while still being in a youthful state.

To clearify though, Ezio is supposed to be 50 in Revelations, at least that's what I read.

Ubisoft is in a lot of financial trouble right now. They need a big cash cow and my guess is they're hoping this will be it.

Not that I have a problem with that though, I can't get enough of these games!

This will be the last game with him. Plus you can just play as Altair if you want. Next we'll be able to play as Desmond in AC3.

This will definitely be the last AC game before AC3. Ubi probably already had the plan of giving Ezio his own trilogy before all this. We'll finish it by being able to use Desmond in AC3 which will be awesome.

Both Ezio and Altair are badasses. I think Ezio is more agile and has the better gadgets and weapons, but Altair is clearly the better fighter, better swordsman, and he's more experienced. I like Altair SLIGHTLY more, but both are just too cool. The multiplayer seems like a great addition as well.

Unlike Brotherhood, we actually get to create our own assassin to use against other people. The bomb crafting sounds nice as well. I'm so excited. I'm definitely pre ordering this, and it's supposed to come out in November, this makes ME3 getting bumped back even better, so many good games in the November-December months..

Having it come out in November just tells me that I wont get it till December or January, because Battlefield is my main focus in November.

In until ME3 comes out the only games I will be playing is Gears, Ghost Recon, and Battelfield.

Mainly because I'm a fan of the series, even though I think Brotherhood was a little boring and repetitive, but it's a must if you plan on getting this title and AC3.

Each game has important things in them to see, one being (spoiler) a main character to the story being a mole and dies and brotherhood. as for who it is play the game.

But other than that, I do enjoy Assassins Creed, but they need to end it and don't milk it, start off on a new title. Much like how at first AC was a next gen version of Prince of Persia, but better. If you get what I'm saying.

Edit: Just say the poll. I think Altair is the better between the 2, Ezio do to tech has better weapons, but Altair was the better assassin, better sword skills, etc. Just overall better, not saying I don't like Ezio, but Altair is better.

In this game, from as much as I gathered so far, you'll be able to play as Ezio and his ancestor, Altair--from Assassin's Creed 1. And if you're an Ezio fan, you better pick this one up, because Ubisoft confirmed that this will be his last game.

I hope this is the last game they make until we get Assassin's Creed 3. Spin-offs are nice, but I want to finish the story first. With that said, I absolutely can't wait for this! The article I read has got me so pumped up.

It's going to be cool seeing Altair and Ezio in the same game.

We all found out that Assassin's Creed Revelations was real last week, and today, we know a whole lot more. Game Informer's June 2011 issue is arriving in subscribers' mailboxes now, and it's packed with information on Ubisoft's flagship title -- including that we're going to get to play as Altair, the protagonist from the first game.

While it's true that Assassin's Creed Revelations is the final installment of the Ezio trilogy, the story has him chasing down five seals that will allow him access to an important artifact in Masyaf (the setting of the first game). Each seal belonged to Altair, and when Ezio nabs one, he gets to relive Altair's memories like Desmond relives things through the Animus.

Making the setup a bit more confusing is the fact that -- spoiler alert -- Desmond is in a coma but hooked up to the Animus when the game begins. Desmond needs to fight through "the black room," an Animus world made up of his shattered mind and "the futuristic architecture of the Animus" to find a specific memory where he, Altair, and Ezio collide.

When we are playing as Ezio, who is now more than 50 years old and questioning how he's spent his life, we'll have access to the hookblade. The one screen released of Assassin's Creed Revelations showed the curved blade on Ezio's arm, but Game Informer has the facts on it. The blade can still be used for killing people, but the device opens up a ton of new movement options. Ezio can use it to zipline around Constantinople, propel himself up walls, and flip over opponents without breaking stride.

"It makes free running more fluid, faster, and more fun," Creative Director Alexandre Amancio told Game Informer. "It speeds up navigation by about 30 percent."

Also joining the fray in Assassin's Creed Revelations is the ability to make bombs. Game Informer said the game employs a simple crafting system that allows us to create more than 300 different bombs that range from flash bangs to smoke bombs.

While a lot of the Game Informer article detailed brand new features, the piece also focused on returning favorites that have been touched up. Multiplayer is back, but it's packing a story. As you increase your rank, you're moving up in the world of Abstergo and getting to know the Templar organization. This time around, you can change your character's appearance, create guilds, and craft your own coat of arms. Matchmaking will be faster, we'll be able to create custom playlists, and Ubisoft is planning Assassin's Creed tournaments.

On the single-player side, eagle vision is now "eagle sense" and will allow Ezio to listen in on far away conversations, hear heartbeats and predict where guards will move. There will be areas to infiltrate similar to the Lairs of Romulus from the last game, but they're based on an "undisclosed historical figure." Ezio's love interest this time around is a bookseller known as Sofia Sorto, who isn't a real person but is based on the Albrecht Durer painting "Portrait of a Young Venetian Woman."
