Well it "appears" that I'm getting a new slim but I won't know until about Wednesday. I shipped the console to them they received it and later that same day it went to status complete and I got an email stating that "A xbox console had been mailed to me" Seemed far to fast to get a repair done so I think I'm getting a replacement.

I've sent my console in about 3 times and from my understanding is that they just send you a console they've already refurbished, not your original one. So unless you sent a slim in, I wouldn't expect a slim on wednesday. But that's just my two cents.

I sent mine in once and got the same one back, they actually fixed it for me, so I guess you never know.

As long as it still has HDMI I'll be happy to have a working console again however a buddy of mine got sent one with hdmi got one back without. If that happens I will raise major hell. I don't have enough component hookups for everything as is....

That's happened to me twice already (this is the third time this things been to microsoft....though I can't say much my wii has been to nintendo twice as well and now the drive has stopped working completely so I just softmodded it and hooked a hard drive up)
