Yeah I heard and read about this earlier this month, I honestly don't care for it. I will check it out when it first come out, but I doubt I will continue to view it after like 3-4 episodes.

Which is because, it's gonna be another piece of crap from Seth. Clevelnd Show sucked, American Dad sucked, Family Guy is starting to lose it's edge, was never better than the Simpsons.

Seth is like Michael Bay, always gets high ratings and cash, for shows(movies) that aren't that good.

I like the flintstones growing up im not sure i could get into the new series. The old cartoons are a lot better than the crap they are showing now.

I watched the Flintstones growing up, and frankly the show sucked. I watched if for lack of any other cartoons on.

The only good thing to come from the Flintstones is Fruity Pebbles and Cocoa Pebbles.

I say HOORAY for Seth McFarlane!!!!! Maybe he can salvage hours of wasted childhood!

So I am guessing this will be a bit more "adult-ish"

I'm assuming this will be a Sunday night show on Fox as well... I fully expect it to be fully McFarlanized if that's the case...

Any way i generally enjoy watching the shows that Seth makes so it'll be interesting to see how this show is.
The Flintstones was based off of The Honeymooners. The Jackie Gleason character was a real jerk to his wife too (POP! Right in the kisser!). You can see this is Archie Bunker too.

There was a totally different view in marriage roles back then. Although the wife always tends to come off as the smarter one.

Speaking of not noticing things until later, it was until I was older that I noticed the cannibalism in A Peanuts Thanksgiving. At the very end, when Snoopy and Woodstock sit down for Thanksgiving dinner, Woodstock devours turkey.

    Cannibalism in cartoons......creepy.

I really hope he doesnt McFarlaneize the Flintstones. That was a great childhood cartoon and if he turns it into another Family Guy, the executives that greenlighted this should be shot.

It's going to be like the Cleveland Show...not that good but get really good ratings. Of course come no where near the greatness the original Flinstones was.
