Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.

I got completely screwed, had KK's in the hole. I raised, dude calls, flop comes out 9 4 2, I bet, he raises, I go all in and he calls. He had friggin Ace 4 off suite, turn is a blank, river is an Ace to give him two pair and take me out.
That dude not only had no buisness being in the hand but then played it like a complete jackass after that and completely sucked out on the river.
I win that hand like I am supposed to and I would have had about 17K in chips and could have coasted into day two, easy.
I was pretty upset to say the least.
Had 3 Pros at my table, and Michael Binger sat right next to me for the first few hours before he got busted out.

Yea Sam, it was flat out ridiculous, I was pissed.
Overall though, it was a fun expierence, just upset that I didn't get the chance to get deeper into the tournament which I should have gotten that oppertunity.

We started with 7 guys at this table and my friend was down to him and two others, pretty even chip counts. He draws QQ, big raise, everyone calls, flop is K Q Q, he slow plays but raises, one folds, other calls, turn is 9, guy raises, buddy goes all in, guy calls (with less chips). River is a K. Guess what the guy is holding.

That would qualify for a bad beat jackpot if the casino had one...
yes it would, in almost any casino, but they dont play that in the WSOP
Yeah i know. My cousin was on a table when the bad beat jackpot was triggered on one of the online poker sites.. he sent me a pic... it was pretty cool. I don't recall how much he got, but he got a descent amount even though he had folded preflop.
this wasn't it but its still pretty damn cool...
the winner and loser got around 160k and 80k... the rest of the dudes got 20k a piece... wow
