Seriously, as soon as Knowshon broke that run without having to magically evade 19 defenders I was like nope, this never, ever would have happened

Looks pretty much the same as nfl 11 and by the looks of it DB's still cant intercept a ball to save their lives...

Theres a fix for that, intercept them yourslef

I never had that problem... And I don't exactally play on rookie.

I've had that problem since '10 with Madden and NCAA. Players dropping wide open interceptions. I also found it ridiculous that in my NCAA 2011 dynasty mode, there were LB's who had more interceptions than my CB's.

Madden has become disturbingly real.

Remember when the crowds were cardboard cut outs? Or the hands on players were a stump and a thumb? Players never really held onto a ball but just floated around their hand.

It could be your corners. But when I was playing just the other day I had a 6 interception game with Joe Haden. If you have ever played with Joe Haden, you should know that he almost always bats down the ball. My linebackers are never in coverage, but every once in a while they will have a 5 interception season. The same franchise as Haden, I had a nickel corner back have a 13 interception season. Maybe it's just me though.

But I play on all pro, so maybe it's an all madden thing?

Ok I will give you that, but for example last season I had well over 30 interceptions. The fact that the DBs drop passes add some realism into the game. If all DBs caught every open pass to them, every team would have 50 interceptions a season with every corner having atleast 7.

Yeah I know, but in a single game you'll EASILY see 5-10 gimme interceptions just dropped. Rather than code better AI so that there aren't so many horribly thrown passes and roid monster DB's, they just drop down the catching ability of the CB's.

But that would mean they would have to spend time making the game good. And this is EA we are talking about.
