It didn't start out as good as GoT, but the writing is much more coherent than the last few seasons of GoT. Hopefully this will give me something else to watch on HBO other than Barry.

The only episode we haven’t liked is episode 4. It was a bit of an odd distraction from how things have gone this season just for the brother to try and sabotage the kings goals.

Rhaenyra went from likable to unlikable once they switched actresses. I think they could have done a better job in deciding how the all-out civil would start, but the season finale certainly was intriguing.

It follows the books with a slight difference in the event that caused it, but the main reason is the same.

The show really picked up momentum in the last few episodes and now I can't wait for Season 2. Sucks that it probably won't be out for at least another year though.
