Rhaenyra went from likable to unlikeable once they switched actresses. I think they could have done a better job in deciding how the all-out civil would start, but the season finale certainly was intriguing.

It follows the books with a slight difference in the event that caused it, but the main reason is the same.

The show really picked up momentum in the last few episodes and now I can't wait for Season 2. Sucks that it probably won't be out for at least another year though.

HOTD is getting better. I wonder if they're going to start killing off key characters soon or if they're going to last a bit longer than in GOT.

The only episode we haven’t liked is episode 4. It was a bit of an odd distraction from how things have gone this season just for the brother to try and sabotage the kings goals.

I’m not 100% sold after first episode though.

It didn't start out as good as GoT, but the writing is much more coherent than the last few seasons of GoT. Hopefully this will give me something else to watch on HBO other than Barry.

My wife sister and I finally binged the final season this week and finished last night.

For the most part I enjoyed the season despite the very debated controversial plot points you’ve all hashed out here. I actually spent over an hour at work reading two months worth of what y’all argue about, discussed predicted. Agree with most complaints. But also agree with those saying despite some annoyances the overall show was still a spectacle to watch. I enjoyed most of it even if there was never going to be full 100% satisfaction.

I could point back to things i didn’t like in every season. I honestly hated season one and wanted to quit. Glad my wife wouldn’t let me.

It is one of my all time favorite shows and I’ll still watch the prequels.

So which other 3-4 hours have you seen outside of the finale? I need to go back and finish my thoughts on Se8Ep5 "The Bells", the most controversial one of the season which nearly broke the Internet -did you watch this one?

Sorry for the delay but I've been feeling media and forum fatigue from the giant fan and critics' backlash over the last four episodes, verging on burnout. That and not having much spare time lately...but I do have some time later today.

It's all good....just havin fun with it. I was talking to a guy at the gym the other day, and he said he was a follower. I nearly told him what happened, before he said he hadn't had a chance to watch the finale!
