  • Respawn Entertainment throws out a teaser

Respawn Entertainment, the group formed by the creators of Call of Duty Modern Warfare, West and Zampella, have finally giving out a clue on what them and the other members of Respawn are working(50 those members are also former members of Infinity Ward).

It's not a video, just a blurred photo.

The only news giving on it is "Respawn is developing a multi-platform product based on new video game IP and funded through its publishing deal with Electronic Arts...."

The website for Respawn Entertainment, the new studio formed by Infinity Ward founders Vince Zampella and Jason West, launched today teasing the team's unannounced project.

A blurry screenshot of the game, which Respawn describes as a "multi-platform product based on new video game IP and funded through its publishing deal with Electronic Arts," was published on the website.

No release window or platforms are provided.

As long as it's not another generic FPS I'm down for a new IP.

I'm starting to cut EA some slack honestly. Bioware has been able to make Mass Effect after joining them, Crysis 2 was awesome, Dead Space series is epic win, Battlefield 3 looks awesome... As long as they don't mess with the companies they buy up, I'll keep buying their stuff.

I'll admit though the one thing I really hate is their EA Online Pass crap. That just makes me angry.

I like the Army of Two games.

Even though they have no ties to Respawn.

Army of Two had clunky movement, simple controls, mediocre graphics, and a cheesy story, but was still fun.

Ironically, after EA bought Bioware ME2 seemed really dim in quality and content compared to ME1. Not to mention they make developers rush out games before they're even ready, case in point, Mass Effect 2, and somewhat ME3 but it got delayed. They treat their customers like crap as well. Their online services are terrible too. Most of their games don't have dedicated servers. ME2, Dragon Age, Crysis, and NCAA 2011 are the only EA games I bought this gen.

I actually liked ME2 a lot more than ME1. I still don't like EA, but I've given them a little more credit than I used to.

I too think ME2 is better than 1.

Besides, EA is better than Activision, yeah both suck, but still.

I thought ME1 was a better game in every way. To each his own I suppose. This game will probably be another run of the mill FPS. I was hoping we could get something like the Fallout games, just not set in a post apocalyptic environment. There are too many shooters, the only one on my list for this year is Halo CE. The FPS genre really is getting stale.
