You guys have to remember that they changed the ratings system last year.

90s are All-Pros
80s are good to great starters
70s are decent starters
60s are backups to spot starters

Lloyd as an 88 is pretty good.

True, but that was his only good year in the NFL. His previous best year came in 05 with 733 yards and 5 TDs.

I think if he continues to perform like he did last year, we will see his rating go up with the updates.

WOW...this morning when I woke up I saw the player ratings for the Broncos and well...at least there will be plenty of cap room to make moves. I don't have the exact link but go to pastapadre.com and you will see the link but wow...they are terrible! The only 90's are Dumervil (91) and Clady (93 I think). Only 2 rookies are 70 or higher Moore (71) and Miller (79). One rookie I think ill cut even though I like him rating in at an astonishing 58 ovr. Its going to take some work to build up the franchise but I welcome it. Makes franchise mode more interesting.

Yeah after looking deeper at the ratings it looks like either our team is terrible or the ratings will really have to change prior to me starting the season. I will make ayers better or make hunter worse. Increase moore's speed so he can be a true center fielder, but I will probably just mess around for a while till updates come that hopefully fix them. And increase all the corners and secondary till they are all 99's because if jones can be that high everyone must be all stars in our secondary cause Jones shouldnt even be in this game he should be like a 50 on NCAA or something.

I'm in a very competitive online franchise league and obviously use the broncos. After seeing some of the ratings and knowing about some of these "needs" or "holes" I'm almost thinking about moving back into a 3-4 d. Going off of madden 11 ratings both bunkley and warren have decent size, great strength, and power moves/block shedding ratings. So I was thinking of maybe moving them to DE's and finding one big, strong, block shedding DT then have von and doom in the OLB positions to do some damage.

I feel like that way there is more pressure on the offense with the personnel we have on d and possibly get some turnovers with the opposing qb being rushed and throwing ducks to the db's..

Any thoughts?? Ideas??

I just want to have a great turnover d cuz I think the offense will be pretty good. I'm really hoping after a couple seasons franklin and waltons ratings go up othrwise I may need to fix some of the oline as well..

I've never understood this claim... Other than him asking about some Broncos numbers today I've never seen him do anything favorable to the Broncos.

It's not favorable, it's just more that he has a greater intrest in Broncos players than most other teams. If I supported another team in the NFL I wouldn't care what numbers someone in the Broncos was wearing.

He's the guy in charge of the rosters, its information he needs to know, and he asks about every other team that isn't in contact with them or doesn't post new acquisition numbers somewhere online. As far as I can see he's just doing his job by asking. I could be wrong though
