It had same day shipping after it was all said and done it cost 60.94 or something plus they gave a 20 credit towards my next purchase, which will be madden which has the same deal so Madden for $40 plus same day shipping plus another $20 off for my next game which will probably have another $20 off. So I would look at Amazon see if they have any deals for those games. Only down side is it might come in the afternoon so no midnight game play, but since I work I like the cheaper games :thumb:

This is gonna be an expensive fall. It looks like I'm gonna be buying Dead Island, Battlefield 3, Skyrim, Rage, Saints Row 3, and Arkham City.
That's like $360 bucksI'm gonna have to pick a couple to put on the back burner.
Only Fall games I'll get right away are Rage, Skyrim, and Halo CE. Everything else I'll get later or for Christmas, like Revelations, Tekken, and probably Arkham City a little before.

Is this game open world/free roam?? Hard to tell.
And yes, the game is open world -- You can freely roam around and do side quest, races , etc. or you can follow the main story.

Rage new purchase incentive detailed
Post-apocalyptic shooter will discourage used game sales by curtailing single-player content; creative director Tim Willits calls himself a "big proponent" of always-online DRM.
Always-on digital rights management and online passes are two trends that sparked an abundance of gamer rage lately, but only one will actually find its way into the game Rage. In an interview with Eurogamer, creative director Tim Willits confirmed that the post-apocalyptic shooter would lock out some content for people who bought the game used but wouldn't require a constant online connection.
Since when did letting people into a sewer become an incentive?
Instead of taking the standard online pass approach of locking out the game's multiplayer modes unless a user enters a one-time code that comes with new copies or pays a $10 fee, Rage will rope off some single-player content. Diligent players will come across sewer hatches in the world of Rage that take them to new missions. If those players bought the game new (and bothered to download the associated content), those hatches will be open to them.
"[M]ost people never even see it," Willits said of the hatches. "I can tell you, some people will buy Rage, download that, and still never set foot in those things. They just won't. I think that's fair. It's cool. It's outside the main path. We're not detracting from anything. But I know some consumers, when you can't avoid it, then you get a little touchy subject."
As for DRM that requires a constant connection, the sort that was recently confirmed for Diablo III and championed by Ubisoft, Willits said that won't be used in Rage. However, he did call himself a "big proponent" of the idea and believes a game as eagerly anticipated as Diablo III will go a long way to making that approach acceptable for gamers.
"If you have a juggernaut, you can make change," Willits said. "I'm all for that. If we could force people to always be connected when you play the game and then have that be acceptable, awesome."
Willits acknowledged that some people would continue to resent the need to be online in order to enjoy a single-player game, but he said it would wind up being better for everyone involved. He cited automatic updates as a particular benefit to the scheme.
Rage is set to launch on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC on October 4. For more on the game, check out GameSpot's previous coverage.
If this becomes a new standard in DRM, I wonder how companies like GameStop and Gamefly will respond. The online passes are already causing a hit, this would make things even more worse for them.

Basically, I agree, but it's better that it's nothing substantial that's being left out for people who buy the game used. I'd worry if it becomes a standard, and companies like Activi$ion and EA/EA $ports starts doing it. Like in Madden, imagine if you buy the game used, all AFCW teams were unplayable. I'm not buying Madden this year anyways, but just an example.

New RAGE gameplay vid- 7 minutes!
Looks really good. iD managed to get all versions running at 60FPS while maintaining really great visuals. It's amazing what they were able to accomplish considering the limitations. The game looks fun, and has a lot more to offer than your average FPS. Can't wait to pick it up on Tuesday.

I hope they don't F me when I buy it used after I finish Skyrim.
It's definitely not anything that will make or break your enjoyment with the game.
This was originally supposed to hold me over until Skyrim, but by the looks of it; I'm going to still be playing a lot of this even when I do get Skyrim. It's going to be tough, because both RAGE and Skyrim are games in which you need to spend a lot of time with to fully enjoy.
