Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.

RAGE‘s release has been dominated by reports of the game running poorly on PC. Unfortunately, a PC version wasn’t provided...
I personally don't see what all the rage is about RAGE. I'll definitely rent it, because it's from iD. But besides the fact that it was developed by iD, it doesn't look all that interesting to me.

Name me another console shooter other than RAGE, that has fantastic visuals, and doesn't dip below 60 FPS. You can't, because that "other" game doesn't exist.
RAGE greatly showcases the abilities of id Tech 5.
I'm not quite sure what you're trying to get at. I don't pick what games to play based on the technical capabilities or achievements.

It really starts with what id was able to accomplish on a technical level. Uncompressed, RAGE was over 1TB. It's amazing what they were able to do.

I wasn't stating it in that way. I apologise if that's what you think. You made it seem like I was taking a shot at your thoughts of the game. I wasn't. I was stating a reason on why people found RAGE interesting, and that was because of what id tech was technically able to do with it. When I said "I couldn't care less about your opinion of the game" I basically meant I wasn't referring to it with that particular post. Should've worded it better, sorry.
It definitely sounded a bit like a personal attack, but if it wasn't intended in that way, no harm, no foul. Apology accepted.
Yeah, it's all good. As for the article you posted, I read similar complaints with the console versions as well.
I actually think it's a love or hate game. I've seen "meh" reviews, reviews that praise it, and some that just nitpick or bash on it. Hopefully after Doom 4, id pushes RAGE even more with a sequel.
DOOM 4 is one of my most anticipated games actually. I can't wait to see what they come up with for that. As for RAGE, I definitely want to play it. I mean come on, it's made by iD, pioneers of the genre. I've just heard so many complaints about the story that it turns me off. From what I've seen, RAGE looks like a tech demo with a not so great story thrown in. I look forward to renting the game to see why gamers like yourself and Hoserman love it so much. Hope I'm proved wrong as well.

In Sherrif Black's office there's a cube with a somebodies grill (you know, that covers their teeth) inside of it. Obviously Tuco's grill that was given to Hank (a DEA agent... see the link to the Sherrif?) in the show.
This might mean nothing to some of you, but I thought it was cool.

I don't watch Breaking Bad, but there was another reference that I heard. You can see someone playing RAGE on their TV using a lightgun. They say it was the iphone version, and not the actual game. Still pretty cool to see the game get that type of recognition.
id also confirmed that Blake Griffin is in the game somewhere as an Easter egg. They didn't say in what way we he is in the game though.

Yeah, it actually served a point in the story in the show, it was pretty obvious though, not really a hidden thing
