Borderlands 2 has been announced for a 2012 release. And probably the most interesting news is that the PSVita will have streaming and controlling compatibilities for the PS3 like the Wii U controller. In other words, you can be playing Uncharted 3 on your PS3 using the Vita as a controller, and you'll also be able to have the game in real time, displayed on your Vita. You essentially have a portable PS3. Sony also confirmed that some PS3 and Vita games will have cross-platform online. So CoD players on Vita could possibly play against CoD players on the PS3. Sounds pretty cool.

I know Vita looks bigger in the picture, but it's actually much smaller than that. It's around the size of the original PSP.
Vita will be much more comfortable to play on, as it has better ergonomics. The Wii U controller fails in that regard, which is why I honestly think it will flop.Last edited by Amari24; 08-04-2011, 09:56 AM.

I hope Borderlands 2 keeps the cel shading, I thought it was awesome in the first game.
Hopefully it also gives the player more character customization options, both in terms of power-ups/abilities and in physical appearance.
I also hope there will be ways you can customize the actual guns too, instead of having to collect tons of different guns. Perhaps they can have a ton of different "base" guns, and you concentrate more on trying to find upgrades/add-ons for them, rather than replacing your guns with a better one constantly.
That's some things I would like to see, but if they just end up not changing anything at all, and having nothing new other than the setting, I'll still buy it and play the hell out of it because I liked the original that much.Lifetime Broncos/Cowboys fan.

I hope they add some more variations for characters and I agree with the above poster that it would be nice to find base weapons have have differenet attachments.
So say you have two scopes you may choose the one that zooms more or the one that is more like a red dot sight. Maybe a barrell for a shotgun that condences the shots into a tight grouping for mass damage on one thing, but a different barrell that spreads it for mob control. I think doing that way would be so much more fun so you can keep a weapon for a while and build it the way you want.
