Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

"Games are Too Expensive"-Todd Howard (Skyrim dev)
Luckily it's closer to $8,500 a year My girlfriend is in pharmacy school and it's like $18k a year for her though Honestly though I don't need $30k a year. With my roommate rent and utilities is at most $550 a month during the hottest summer months. Budgeted out rent and utilities is about $6k a year, a little less. You'll catch me dead before I spend $6k a year on things like food etc. I can live below the technical poverty line and put myself through college.
And yeah I know I have it better than most people, that's why I'm saying if I wasn't in this situation I'd be much tighter on this
Horse, dont listen to that dude sipping hater-aid, I ask for advice on cars, computers, hell...life on here, like you said...no one knows what we all do for a living, after reading your post here tho I might be able to somewhat help. I lease apartments here in Colorado and my asst manager was in apt leasing in Dallas for 5 years so he knows the laws still, he is CAM certified and can help, hit me up and explain your situation and maybe I can offer some help instead of calling you an idiot for 598763 posts like @Luckyshot was.

I appreciate the offer, but the situation has kinda worked itself out My roommate has decided to go into the Navy in a few months so that gets him out of the lease and they're offering to pay the fee to get me out of the lease as well. I've just gotta line up another apartment to move into in mid-fall and it'll all be good :thumb:

I was not calling him an idiot. My issue was that he is willing to spend money on video games but be cheap on the important things like lease law. If you are going to spend, then backup that spending on were it matters.
And I really wanted to come up with some way to incorporate that into this discussion. The door was really wide open on that one.
I read the entire thread and you seem to care more about his issues than he did, let him figure it out - like he said, you never know what one does professionally on here while being a Bronco fan.
I'm not even sure if I'd consider Assassins Creed a $60 purchase. It's on the fringe, it doesn't take me 30 hours to get through it, and it's pretty much a one-time play through. It's a really, really, really good game though.
Skyrim, Battlefield 3, Rage, Halo Anniversary, and Saints Row 3 are my guaranteed day one buys for this fall.
Assassin's Creed games have a lot more content and value than Battlefield and Halo Anniversary (which is just a remake). Add that to the addition of MP for the new AC games, it's definitely worth $60.
It may not take you 30 hours to get through, but if you do every possible side mission and try to earn every possible achievement there is in one playthrough, it'll definitely drag out longer than any of the games you mentioned above. Would it take 30 hours? Maybe. Depends on how you play the game, but it's subjective.
Although, Assassin's Creed as a series has always lacked replay value, but then again, not too many FPS offer that anyways.
Welllll thanx for assuming I am rich and spoiled . I make under $30k a year, I have a little more disposable income because I am 28, have a girlfriend (No wifey lol), no kids. I am however paying back student loans, my car, and then I live on my own sooooo...like i said before I bought some of them because I couldn't wait to rent and Cap and TF were due to my comic/nerd roots. Trust me I learned my lesson lol
I didnt mean that
I just said you both bought games that you only play like once lol
He is spoiled rotten i know you just bought them because you thought they looked good please dont be upset haha i didnt mean it in a bad connotation.

Nah, its just an attack method in debating. You also do not know who might be lying about what they do professionally.

LOL okay, while that is true I don't even care to "Debate" this with you, point is, I (and others) like to help fellow posters when we can, my intent is never to screw anyone else over
