It had Ricardo Montalban in it. Instead of "Rise" it was called "Conquest".

i went last night. it was pretty good. MUCH better than that Tim Burton piece of crap.

i gave it a 7/10. my review ought to be up shortly (along with a belated review for Pirates of the Cash Cow 4).

Looks like Andy Serkis has been typecast LOL. poor guy, but he does it so well.

The original was pretty good, the Burton remake that was made about 10 years ago was just abysmal. It made absolutely no sense. I even tried to piece it all together, it has too many plot holes, and contradictions.

However, if this one has nothing to do with that crap, I'll probably watch it.

caught it last Saturday and I really enjoyed it.

I loved how they implemented the global pandemic that wipes out the human race as a way for the apes to take over the world. Pretty cool.

I just wonder if these Apes will keep evolving or stay how they are.

I want to see ROTPOTA but I may wait for dvd....I don't tend to agree with charlie on much and if he gave it a 10/10 I might have to consider waiting on it lol.

All joking aside I do want to watch it and I'm hoping I enjoy it because I loved the original POTA movies (just not the Tim Burton pile of dung)
