NFL Sunday Ticket now on PS3

Today, Sony and DirecTV announced a partnership to bring NFL Sunday Ticket to the PlayStation Network.

When the season starts, PS3 owners who don't already have a NFL Sunday Ticket subscription can download the PS3 app and subscribe for $339.95. If you already have a NFL Sunday Ticket subscription through DirecTV, you can spend $50 and use the PS3 as an additional receiver.

So now if you don't have Directv or want Directv, you can not get Sunday Ticket.

But ask yourself, is it worth $340.

i hope this means i will be able to get game pass on ps3 up here in canada , cause i'd much rather watch nfl on my tv than pc if possible ....awesome!

That's a pretty darn good deal for DirecTV, and people who don't want to switch to DirecTV for access to their teams games. If you take into consideration how much it costs for drinks and food at a sports bar to watch the game with no audio, this is by far a much better deal.

so what if I have Direct TV but no NFL Ticket. Can I call up and complain that I want the deal all of the new subscribers are getting with the free Ticket when they sign up, then pay the 50 bucks to get it on my PS3 while im away at college?

I personally hate the fact that my parents have DIrect TV and we dont get NFL Sunday Ticket but all the new people do. I wonder how far I can get if I call and demand for them to give it to me for free as well since we have had their service for 5 years.

Has anybody tried this? Because im tired of searching 100 websites to find the game streaming every sunday only to wind up on Justin TV with some kid pointing his camcorder at the TV screen broadcasting the game lol

Don't think it'd work. I'm seeing longer term subscribers getting pretty good deals, but not free. It's like that shiny new cell phone you get for "free", but have to sign a 2 year contract with a huge early termination fee. It's their way to get new subscribers.

That wouldn't work. You can't complain about they're deal for new costumers, so you can get free Directv.

If you already have DTV just pay the 50 bucks, it's no biggy.

You can't demand something, the free sunday ticket is for new costumers only, you are not a new costumer so you can't get it no matter how you complain.

Actually i just complained to directv and they gave me sunday ticket for free.

I just had to pay the $29.97 service fee

Hopefully 360 will come soon, I don't have a ps3 and will never ever be a directv subscriber again.

Well i have had directv for 10 years & believe me i told them that & they gladly offered me a discount which in the end came to $300 over the course of 1 year & an additional $60 the second year. So yes it does work.

Just sayin!
