Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

I didnt like it that much, especially how the wrote charlie off and how none of the characters acted like they cared
Well, my retort to that would be.
How do you think somebody would react at the funeral of a drunk, womanizing jerk that used women and never cared about anybody in his life and used and abused everyone near and dear to him?
The answer: They'd line up to spit on his grave
I think they really summed up his character very well. He's the person that nobody wants to be around. On the show he gets the attractive women, then they realize just how screwed up he is. I mean, his death was a bit over the top of course and was something that only a Hollywood writer would come up with...
Crazy stalker/lady in love with womanizer finds him in the shower with another woman. Then has him trip into an oncoming train as revenge. Bit over the top.
Overall, I found it to be funny and I think the show will do well with Kutcher's character.

really? the family wouldnt care and would spit on their brother/uncles grave that they have been living with for however many years . . . please charlie, stop trying to throw your morals around in here
His funeral and life was just a big joke on the show which was kind of dumb. The one thing that was bothering me was Kutcher's character. He was actually kind of annoying. Half the episode all the writers did was just make fun of Charlie Sheen.

It is not me throwing my morals around. His character treated everyone like trash. I honestly can't remember any single instance in the show where you showed any particular care for anybody (other than getting an attractive woman into the bedroom). He demeaned his brother, hated his mother, and the only person that cared about him was a crazy demented psychopath.
I thought some of the jokes were ok... the writing is not as good as it used to be, and I'm hoping a shake up in the cast will give them a pep in the step again... but I wasn't expecting it in the first episode.
I'm not determined to hate it as I think some people are... but the first episode wasn't great. I'm still going to watch several more before deciding.
I was actually most annoyed by Kutcher's character getting $1.3bil in a buyout from Microsoft. That number is just completely ridiculous. A more realistic amount wouldn't be enough for him to live with absolutely no cares for money at all, I guess... not in Malibu. A couple mil or so would have been more realistic (it was a buyout of a company that had never been heard of... not a huge company that got bought out).
And yes, the hate for Charlie at his funeral was over the top. I get that there would maybe be some people who would want to spit on his grave, but most people would just not show up, or would have more to say than just bad things. Two of the complaints from the crowd were from women that he actually had a long relationship with and was engaged to... yet they left him... not because he screwed up either. Now they both suddenly had nothing to say about him other than what VD they'd gotten from him?
It was over the top, and I don't mind it... but it was over the top.
1st, Alan & Berta both expressed remorse, Jake never shows emotion unless it's for food or the bathroom, & his mom never cared for anyone but herself, why would that change?
2nd, Rose cared, but she was always crazy. Her setting him up, not that over the top. I've known some stalkers, and they came close to that
3rd, IT WAS FUNNY. The bit with Alan dropping the urn was hilarious. IMHO it was better than all of last year
