I've come to the conclusion that this game is absolute garbage and I hate it. Games no longer exist for the casual gamer. Everything has to be realistic for the hard corps gamers that have all the time in the world to get good at them. You can't even play a simple easy game on amateur anymore. And yes the putting is absolutely atrocious.

Why can't they just make these games difficult for people who play on Tour pro? Why do they have to screw it up for the rest of us. I'm attempting to recoup any money I can out of this game. It's the worst tiger ever.

Oh and you can't even join online tournaments anymore with playing countless hours to barely afford unlocking 1 course.

Just joined today thanks for the invite. My golfer's stats are pretty low right now as I just started over to increase the swing difficulty to tour pro. Let me know if/when you are planning on any competitions between other clubs? Now sure what we do from here....

Man you must be good if you can play on tour pro. I can't. But yeah you can go into the menus and challenge someone from another club at any time. Tournaments will be up when we improve our rating.

So far there isn't much too it. However we all gather points as a club whenever we play no matter what mode and it increases the level of the club.

It appears that once the club reaches a certain status we can compete in tournaments. Also I should be able to create tournaments inside the country club at some point too.

Also whenever two people in the club are on at the same time they can create head to head matches within the club. And any member has an option to go challenge a member of another country club.

Everything keeps score and statistics to upgrade the overall club and get ranked against the others.


So far I have 5 members.

Nah man it's cool. Alot of those concerns are the same ones I have. I agree I liked the guess the percentage mechanic and the putting does some worse now.

But I haven't bought Tiger since 2010 so some of this is new to me that I like. Like starting out on the Amateur tour instead of immediately as a PGA golfer.

I like the new Tiger legacy option plus I like the Kinect option which I have. The voice controls are very good on it. However I liked the old Tiger challenge mode to help upgrade my created golfer faster.

I was considering taking it back last week too. However depending on how this country club thing works out it could be a real game changer for me. If it blows I may bail on it.

The putting would be nice if the stick sensitivity wasn't so freakin high. If you pull the stick down/back all the way, the golfer almost throws his putter behind him.

The graphics are good, and I like the courses. If I could change back to the old swing I'd love this game. But, alas, EA sports once again tells people what they think is better.

I'm sure some people love the new swing. I bet it's really cool on kinect too.

I like the "guess where the percentage is" mechanic. I loved the putting mechanic in 12.

I can't even putt in this game. I hate the store. I hate...well just about everything in this game.

Hopefully someone will answer my craigslist ad soon.

You mean hitting A,A,A? Or where it just showed you % and you had to estimate on your swing? And you could hit A for added power. I don't like that there isn't a power boost anymore. Also the zoom function seems to suck at times. When I'm on the green within 10 ft it won't zoom in and I can't always tell if the Putt preview is accurate or not.

Yes, Yes I use putt preview. And Caddie tips. I'm a very casual player and only buy Tiger every 2-3 years. I used to play without Caddie tips but now they've added loft and stance which I have no clue how to estimate without the tips. Putt preview I can't do without though on the harder difficulty settings.

Also don't really care for how the shop no longer exists and club and apparell upgrading are through sponsors only.

You used to have to get sponsors but they just paid you and you go in and buy the equipment you want. Now it's set equipment at certain sponsor levels and you accept or not.

I still like the game but don't care for some of the changes.

Any more word on how legit this Country Club thing is? Sounds like it could be a lot of fun or a lot of dumb. Probably a deciding factor.

Not yet, is it cool? I just stared over with using the tour pro difficulty instead of the pro. Pro is too easy, it just doesn't seem fair that you can spin a driver 90 degrees back into the fairway. I had just started my career so I didn't lose too much...

I actually haven't had a ton of time to play it yet. I set up the Country Club as pro difficulty because Amateur was major easy. But if Pro is too hard I might can lower it.

I haven't tried setting up any tournaments with other clubs yet though I did see a way to do it. Not sure if it will create a tournament so all members of our club can post scores against the other one or if it just sets up a multiplayer game with me versus a person from another club.

There are literally hundred of public country clubs so it will be impossible to search without the name. My gamertag is DropMyTv
