  • Coachella 2012 (Dr. Dre)

Anyone watch the live stream of the concert? I used to be a huge rap fan so it was cool to see some of my old favorites. During Dr. Dre's concert he had some huge names perform with him; Wiz Khalifa, 50 Cent, Eminem, Snoop Dogg, and Tupac. Yes Tupac performed at the concert...as a hologram. It was so realistic it was almost scary. Very cool to see it. I'll post a video when one is made available. Pretty crazy technology, would be awesome for them to do some kind of hologram tour of deceased artists.

I don't know what to make of it. I wouldn't personally want to see my favourite artist come back as a hologram of all things but hey that's just me.

Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves, some people seem to have thought it was bad taste but it was impressive. This was talked about after Jackson died. I wouldn't like to see it becoming a trend though.

I will say it wasn't half as disrespectful as what Guitar Hero did to Kurt Cobain

I don't think it was disrespectful at all, I saw it as more of a tribute than a way to make more money off of the Tupac name. I could see producers attempting to create a hologram tour with guys like Tupac and Biggie, and that could create some problems and come off as just another way to make money... but I wont lie, it would be tempting to see in person.

"Make money" is what some see as disrespectful, doesn't fuss me much, makes sense in this capacity but some people were upset with it. Just because it's money making on the dead.
