To the other posters, thats why I dont play online. I hate the cheaters, how the hell is that even fun?

But the way it works, from what Ive gathered, is the player will gain XP points, and you'll have to click on "Progress Players" or something to that effect, and you buy different packages with the XP points that the player earned.

I gave in and got it. In my first two games i threw 12 interceptions.... If the defender has one step in front of the pass they will 100% pick it off. I guess its more realistic since it makes you take less risks and pass it to an open receiver lol. I also noticed that passing through the middle and the running game is way to easy.

I hope I made the right decision buying this game since I'm also supposed to buy a couple really expensive college books lol.

I forget who I was playing. But they had a big fat DE covering Demaryius Thomas. I was like oh crap this is going to be an easy play. NOPE! The DE kept up with DT stride for stride, and picked the ball off.

I also hate that you can't assign a corner to a receiver like you used to be able to. The guy I played was keeping Mike Wallace away from Champ so I had to stay in zone coverage most of the game

How do you keep a WR away? Also, how do I sub players in and out per play. I want Hillman or Moreno to handle the screens and not McGahee, but dont know how to sub in guys.

You don't even have to position yourself for the INT anymore. Get close to the WR and hold Y.

I don't know what game some of you are playing as I haven't yet seen super LB's the only thing close would be where they jumped and fell backward because I didn't get enough loft on the ball, but that was on me and not super LBs. I think some people haven't gotten use to the new thorwing abilities and still throw line drives everywhere, so the LB's don't really have to jump that high at all to get a pick.

New franchise mode seems good, yes some of the features that got left out stink but there were reasons for it. The editing I think they should find a way to edit in cosmetic things, but position changes and rating changes are causing problems in the actual mode of CCM. That is why they aren't in, plus it sort of defeats the purpose of the XP system.

I think they did a great job of laying the foundation for the future, and hopefully they keep building on it.

That is the same with the WR to, if you get into a catchable position where you can trigger an animation you can get a catch. I had a goalline fade route for DT, and I took one step and let the ball go with a lob, but he got jammed at the line, and when I switched to him to go for the catch he attacked the ball and did a diving/jumping 1 handed catch. It actually looked really cool lol.

What is the "ultimate team" thing on Madden? Is it like fantasy football or something? Or do you make an all-star team and play online?

It is like a card game where you get packs of cards and try to build a team out of those. I haven't really played it, but I know some people who love the game, and it seems like it may be easier to get coins to get packs this year so you don't have to use real money. But still probably wont play it.

User catching with WRs is pretty non-existent. User catching with DBs is easy to the point where I can intercept the ball about 10 times a game.
