Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

True, though I don't watch much college ball. College sports in general are better because they don't make money doing it. They play because they love playing.
also i think that if you didn't LOL at that scene you're either dead or blind or something hahaha. it was awesome.
That part and when Hulk punched Thor towards the end were hilarious.....
Same with Hulk yelling at Stark when he was unconscious
I taught there was plenty of sceens where looked like a bad ass: when he blocked thor'hammer, when he lead them in battle at the end, there plenty of moment where he just wrecked people...
He even made me laugh when he was all pround off understanding the monkey joke/comment
yeah being able to block Mjolnir is kind of a big deal. Like you said, Cap is the only one that's been able to lift it (though not in the movie........yet). *EDIT* Wait, was that you? there are a lot of people with "bronco" at the end of their name... *looks at own name* Oh
When he assumed command and started issuing orders to the group made a big difference. He wasn't without some humor either, but the writers and Evans were able to keep him grounded in the 40's era in that regard.
Let's play this game though:
If they'd picked someone else to play Cap, who would be your choice? Experience you should definitely get in on this.

oh someone in the Movie thread with a similar name as yours (maybe it was captainbronco) brought up that Captain America is the only one that has been able to lift Mjolnir other than Thor. I thought it was you. Unless it was you. lol

Always carry a flagon of whiskey in case of snakebite and furthermore always carry a small snake.
That would be a good choice but i dont see a need for change
Me neither. HUGE pet peeve regarding movies is when they switch actors mid-franchise or whatever for the same role. Obviously something like James Bond doesn't count. But replacing Katie Holmes in the Batman trilogy pissed me off and I don't even like Katie Holmes. Completely took away the vibe and the character when they did that. But her whole purpose was to die anyway so.
Norton to Ruffalo with Hulk is another big one too. All because Studios can't leave well enough alone. Even though I just said I agree Ruffalo fits the bill better.
The only exception to the rule is a death. I don't even like the franchise and haven't seen any of them but I imagine losing Richard Harris mid-Harry Potter franchise probably sucked.
I did want them to continue with bringing Joker back for the third installment regardless of what happened to Heath, but that too wouldn't have been the same. I just feel Joker is important enough to Batman that they could've done it. The direction they've gone with TDKR however seems like they made up for that.
Anyway, there are a ton of examples like that and it always irks me. Especially with super hero type stuff. They did it with a couple people in the X-Men franchise too...but they were minor characters.
