Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

New mini-series coming out the day before Halo 4 is due to release. It gave me chills. The potential for an amazing movie is there.
Here are the armor skins you supposedly can acquire from each of the following providers. Word is there are also going to be weapon skins, of which I'm not a big fan of. I'm all for more armor customization, but weapon skins is a bit much if you ask me.
I believe that Master Chief was engulfed by a planet called, "Shield World." You encounter this planet during Halo Wars, however it was destroyed so there must have been more. Seems the USNC Infinity was also sucked in and the Chief regroups with them. It's also possible some Covenant forces were trapped in the planet or intentionally placed themselves there, hence their presence. As for the "Ancient Evil", I presumed they were referring to the Flood, but clearly those aren't Flood. The new enemy seems to be a hybrid, maybe Forerunner/Human or something along those lines. IMHO
As stated multiple times, I really couldn't force myself to play Gears. Too much motion blur for a TPS and it's just not my type of game. I gave my thoughts on the new Star Wars in LT's thread.
I'll talk E3, instead. I don't think Microsoft will straight up announce the 720 (contrary to what I once believed), rather hint to future projects. Not because Halo 4 is coming out -- there are numerous ways they could bypass that, but because they know Sony is far from announcing the PS4. Always announce your system around the same time as your main competitor. I do however believe that this will be the current gen's last dedicated E3.
Sony I think will go all out on the Vita by announcing future titles and showing off more upcoming services like PS Suite. Nintendo... they're about done. I almost forgot about the Wii U even existing so that'll undoubtedly get their attention. But they're just now trying to adapt to what most gamers were accustomed to two generations ago.
This will be Nintendo's last system, fortunately. I think software would be a much better investment for them at this point.
I think the main reason they are making another game is because their fans that have been with them since 06, for the most hated Gears 3.
The multiplayer was less like Gears of War and more like a Call Of Duty in a Gears skin. Epic got a lot of feed back on Gears 3, and it wasn't good feed back. They even said it in a interview with IGN that somethings didn't click the way it was suppose to.
So I'm not the only one left feeling burned. I haven't played Gears 3 in months so I'm not sure how much has changed, but there was quite a bit I thought they could have done better. Looks like they're just trying to redeem themselves after the Gears 3 debacle.
Not to say I didn't enjoy some aspects to the game... I just can't think of any right now.
Personally, I really want to see some more Halo 4. Supposedly live action trailers will be released in October.
I felt somewhat betrayed by Gears 3. Seemed like they just strung a bunch of random stuff together and called it campaign. Maybe EPIC could redeem themselves by creating a killer story line in the prequel, IMO.

Yeah, I saw your thread after I made mines.(There a min apart) I was just gonna make a Gears thread, then LT thought by Gaming news, I meant a full gaming news thread. I so I said why not and made one. It makes it a lot easier to talk about smaller games or big games that not many people talk about or reply to if you give that game it's own thread.
Yeah I figured an E3 thread would be nice since it is coming up and so many games may strike different interest from different people. like me it is Madden, Ncaa, and Borderlands 2 for me this year. (saving up to move to a new house)
Great I was reading about E3 and thought it would be great to have an E3 thread so I already posted one then I read Lord's thread great minds must think alike lol.

Interesting thing thing going on, release dates of next gen consoles. With the announcements of Halo 4, Gears Of War(Unknown if it's a prequel or sequel), God Of War. It leads to questions of are the next gen consoles pushed back?
I said it in a previous thread, that the Next Xbox will come out in 2014. The announcement of Gears pretty much makes that a better date. It'd be really stupid to have the next xbox come out in 2013, when Halo comes out late 2012, Gears probably early-mid 2013. Both of these are possible launch titles, it'd just be stupid to come out with a new console in the same year of a juggernaut game series.

Ah... I see it now... I enjoyed the first GOW... but it's one of those games I got right before getting crazy busy at work for a while, and by the time I had free time again, another game had probably come out.
I didn't get that far into it... and I so seldom have time for games as it is, I haven't gotten either of the sequels.
One of Xbox's top exclusives isn't over. It was lead to believe that Gears Of War 3 was the last of the Gears series, but it turns out another game is on the way in it will be revealed at E3. Rumor is Microsoft is revealing the Durango at E3 this year, Durango being the code name for the Next Xbox. Kinda like how the Kinect code name was Project Natal.
Anyways back to Gears, it has been said that it isn't Gears Of War 4, so it leads to it likely being a prequel, there were some wars going on before the locust.
Usually, we like to reveal the name and final cover art for our upcoming issue's cover story the Thursday before it hits subscribers. This time we're saving the full unveiling of the game's title until Monday during Microsoft's E3 press conference, but we can confirm that our next cover is the new installment in the Gears of War series and is coming to Xbox 360. We figure this news and a glimpse of the shrouded Gears of War cover are least some consolation, as the image raises some interesting questions: Who is in chains, and where?
Take your time trying to decipher clues about the next game in the Gears of War universe, and check back on Monday when we fully pull back the curtain on both (yes, we said "both") of our covers. Also waiting for you on Monday is a teaser trailer jammed with sneak peeks at our month of online Gears of War coverage. As always, you can learn more about Epic's new game in the following weeks with a wealth of online videos, articles, and interviews that will populate our upcoming Gears of War hub, including an exclusive and extensive first look here at Game Informer that hits Monday morning. You don't want to miss it.
They won't call it Gears of War 4 and they don't call it Gears of War Karting, so what in the world is the name of the new Gears of War?
The people at Game Informer magazine know, but they're not saying until Microsoft announces the game at Monday's Xbox 360 E3 briefing (which you'll be able to watch live on Kotaku starting at 9:30am PT, 12:30 eastern).
The game will be featured on the cover of the next issue of Game Informer (July), but they're blacking a lot of it out online for now. Tim Turi of Game Informer apologizes about not being able to reveal more: "We figure this news and a glimpse of the shrouded Gears of War cover are least some consolation, as the image raises some interesting questions: Who is in chains, and where?"
Top folks from Gears of War development studio Epic Games have already Tweeted their enthusiasm about the new Gears, including the head of People Can Fly, the Epic-owned studio that—hmmm—hasn't released a new game since early 2011's wonderful but not-so-great-selling Bulletstorm.
GI promises tons of coverage of the game online this June. Start your guessing and, take note, they're saying this is for the Xbox 360, not the next console.
