I do love that fight with sezth in the early part also.
Looks like Brent Weeks has a couple of books out I have't read I'll probably try them next. I still have like 200ish pages left of WoR that book is crazy long. I don't know how many pages the actual book is because I'm on Ebook but still.

its 1100 pages. Its longer because Sanderson felt bad for having us wait so long between the two books. I don't really blame him as he was finishing up the wheel of time.

the guy is still a machine though. He still plans on about a two year window between the books and he is still putting out other books. He has the second reckoners coming out in the fall and the second rithmutus book coming out after that.

but it looks like a 5-6 year break between the fifth and six book as he works on the second mistborn trilogy (not the alloy of law). Hard to believe the cosmere he has planned 36 books lol.

but I saw weeks had a pair of books out. I figured I would wait till that trilogy was done then pick them up and give them a read.

        WoR spoilers obviously.

Just finished it up. Great book! Sucks to have to wait so long for the next. Lol @ The Lopen, now the only two armed one armed Herdazian. Figured Jasnah faked her own death I have a gut feeling she'll be the next world hopper and end up showing up in another series.

Yeah, but it will be interesting to see how Jasnah faked her death. I'm guessing she went to shadesmar and had a hard time getting out. But she doesn't have a flash back book in any of the next three books Because they are Sethz, Esthondi, and Daliner (probably spelt them all wrong lol).

I could see her becoming a world hopper but there were already several in this book that people over at the 17th shard (Brandon's message board) have picked out. You have Hoid of coarse. Then there was an ardent they believe the one that makes a lot of the notes in the book and some of the drawings. They believe that Ghost Blood guy is one since he has all those trophys they are guessing are from different worlds.

          WARBREAKER SPOILERS

Another world hopper is the sword master. He is Vasher from Warbreaker, and of coarse his sword Nightblood is also in the book. And now Sethz has it at the end of the book.

          END WARBREAKER SPOILERS

I'm interested in how Sethz will continue on in the book. Also love what Adloin did at the end of the book

I've only read the first chapter of Warbreaker but it was blatantly obvious that nightblood was szeth's new sword.

I am starting Elantris right now and then I'll jump to Warbreaker then on to Emperors soul.

(On top of all that believe it or not I'm also writing a novel of my own)

I'll be busy for awhile hopefully it'll keep me occupied until the 3rd stormlight book comes out.

Good luck with your novel. I may have creative ideas but I could never transfer them to words on a page lol.

But yeah I don't know why I am putting off Elantris so much. Doing that puts off Emperors soul since they take place on the same planet. I should really knock those two out since I don't believe either are to long.

But currently I slowed my reading pace way down to just reading while I am donating plasma twice a week for about an hour. Currently reading Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss, but I will say after reading some other authors that write these long books I'm glad Sanderson moves as fast as he does. Big time since his goal is 2 years between these stormlight archive books, and he is still doing other books in the meantime.

Which means I will have Fireflight to read in the fall. (Book 2 of the Reckoners) But yeah my list of books I need to read are just growing, because I would like to read his Rithmatus books and the second one of those will probably come out next year, but he did promise after those two books he will be back to the stormlight archive. And then he will write the second alloy of law book.

And those are just his books. I will still have the second book from Patrick's Kingkiller Chronciles. I still have the Dresden file books since I have the first 6 and already read book 1. I would like to read Butchers other series he has out because I have heard good things from those. I have Brent Weeks second trilogy to read, which I will probably just wait till its done because he seems to get them out at a decent pace.

And finally I do have the first 4 books of ASOFAI to read from GRRM. But I just keep putting that one off because I don't know if it will ever be finished.

I am creative and have good writing skills but i don't know how it will turn out. I have a detailed outline for characters weapons, magic system, and story. I have the first chapter started and have mapped out where I'll go from there.

This is mainly just to sharpen my writing skills for school. If something comes of it great. If not, life goes on.

I obtained a copy from our excellent ABQ/Bernalillo County Library System and just finished reading it. Thanks for recommending this excellent book. I learned much about this truly great man. It is a sad story at times; very unpleasant to read. It is good to know that National Monuments devoted to him and his people have been established in Oklahoma and Colorado.

Thom Hatch has filled a gap in my knowledge of the West. I shall read more of his books. His non-fiction is very easy to read while adhering to standard methods of documentary notation.

Elantris is about 550 pagesish. I'm about 100 pages from finished. Good book!

Yeah I need to get on those I will probably move them up the list to sit right behind Name of the Wind since that will probably take me a while since I slowed my reading pace way down to a couple hours a week. But I have heard great things from Emperors soul.

It's so loosely tied to elantris. You could read it stand alone, however Elantris is a good book.

I just finished the book "Gone Girl" about an hour ago. It is the first novel I've picked up that was more than 400 pages, that I read through in a couple days.

I picked it up for two reasons. It was number 1 best-seller, and when I flipped it over it said "terrifying" - that was enough for me.

It was not at all terrifying. I mentioned this to one who replied that's because you're morbid. Whatever.

However, it is one of the best novels I've read in sometime. Very sick and twisted, lots of manipulation. If anyone remembers "War of the Roses." This takes that to a whole new twisted, sick, level. It was a great book.
