Jesse Eisenberg is Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons is Alfred

Eh, this is question I can see both sides. The side that is laughing at how bad this could be and the side that sees good in this. Maybe they are going with a younger Lex, maybe they are going for something closer to the Smallville style with Lex. It is unknown until trailers come out or the movie itself.

I already have no interest in the movie since I'm a Marvel fan, but having Gal Gadot got my attention....for a short time. Seems like this movie is trying to do to much and I think Mark Strong would've been the best fit for Lex and I think Gina Carano would've been the best fit for Wonder Woman.

But hey I'm no director or producer, maybe they see something we don't. What they see may be worth this risk of having actors who don't really fit the roles.

It'll still have to grow on me but I thought it was completely out of the question till you posted this.

Now seeing the two pics together he looks more like my impression of Lex than I realized.

Trust me I know...I hated it until I realized how similar he and Rosenbaum looked and I loved Rosenbaums Lex (he for several seasons was the lone bright spot on that show)

Eisenberg plays a genius well so we'll see how well he fits the part once the movie comes out.

He actually looks somewhat like the Smallville Lex (which I could see him portraying lex in a similar fashion)


I dunno...I'll give it a chance but I can't stand the guy.


*edit*Actually...the resemblance is pretty uncanny. I think as far as the look of lex he'll be perfect...

I may have somewhat just talked myself into him lol. If he plays the part like a mix between the Social Network and Rosenbaum's Lex it could work. We'll have to wait and see.

That's really not a pleasant memory. Especially since I liked the book and that movie murdered it brutally.

Apparently from what I've seen, people like the Irons casting.

I'm willing to give Affleck a chance at Batman. Irons as Alfred on the other hand? No.

Irons is a decent enough actor. He's no Michael Caine but I think he might be ok. I'd rather have Heisenberg than Eisenburg.....I don't care how old he is Cranston would have been amazing for the part.

Luthor had hair before he was ever depicted bald in the comics.

While I like Eisenberg a lot and he really fits the mold of a genious I can't really picture him as Lex Luthor.

Um.....ya......The Affleck Batman casting....I can give that the benefit of the doubt. This is so astronomically bad...Yikes....I can't even begin to picture Eiesenburg as Lex...not even remotely.
