  • I agree. El Camino was pretty average IMO. Almost to the point of: "Why is this even a story?"

I knew it wouldn't be as amazing as Breaking Bad. But it was almost underwhelming as a story.

The cameos were cool to see though....

Yeah for me it was about the Cameos. A lot of the directing / filming tricks were used in the series too .......

Shame we didn't see more of Badger and Skinny. The way they were introduced (probably improvising) was pretty funny
The beatings will continue until morale improves....

I felt it was mostly boring and pointless and ruined some of the ending. I didn’t need to see what jessie went through more than what was shown during the show and certainly didn’t need the overall concept to be a revenge tour. I actually even fell asleep for a few minutes after the halfway point.

I really wish they hadn’t done this movie and it almost seems more of a cash grab for Aaron Paul than a need for the universe.

You nailed my thoughts exactly on the is one. And the character, with the actor now a few years older, wasn’t really Jesse to me.
My thoughts exactly. I was bored the entire time and felt that it wasn’t necessary at all. Complete waste of time.

So far I am ok with it, because this could have some potential. Just taking this, one episode at a time, to see if it grows on me.

Funny side thing....Tom Brady has a cameo, and it does fit pretty well.
We just started episode 5. I’m not really that into it but my wife is a big Paul Rudd fan so we are seeing it through.

Finished up last night. Was not a fan of the show at all.

I liked watching it at the beginning, because of the concept. Like you, I am not crazy about the show overall. I don't expect it to return.

                      • Atypical is another decent series in my opinion, though I would not rate it too high.

                        • I'm very excited for the upcoming Witcher series. When I heard Cavill was going to cast for the lead, it initially had me worried but after watching the trailers, I must admit that he appears to have nailed the character for television format adaptation.

                            • Merry Happy Whatever - A Christmas/holidays sitcoms starring Dennis Quaid. It’s actually pretty good.

Most of the series has been about family issues that have nothing to do with the holidays. But the entire season is built around the holiday vacation as the over laying theme. At first I was skeptical but they can actually release 8-10 episodes of this every Xmas and not run out of ideas of problems occurring over the Xmas vacation.

                              We have one episode left.
