Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

I have looked everywhere on here and can't find a Disney dedicated thread. So here it is! Talk about everything Disney related here. If it is a movie, game, or even the theme parks themselves go for it! I am sure we have some other Disneyholics here!!

I have a plethora of pictures and so forth from our trip to Disney World for Christmas in 2012...
I can tell you quickly that I never really had a desire to go to either park, but I am fairly certain that I enjoyed it more than my kids did...
The best part about it was being able to see the reaction and look on my daughter's face whenever she would meet a princess. Those were the moments where I felt pretty awesome. We were mainly there for her (although her aunts and great grandma are huge Disney freaks and they go all the time) so it was very heart warming to see her reactions. Her favorite princess at the time was Aurora, kind of out of the blue since she had been so stuck on Rapunzel just previously. Anyway, she got the royal treatment. In Downtown Disney (kind of separate from the 3 major parks and you don't actually need passes to go there, as it's mainly shops and restaurants) they have a beauty shop called Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique. They actually have several of these strung throughout the parks, but we went to the main one in Downtown Disney. Anyway, her aunts and great grandma had gotten her set up with the royal treatment, where any girl aged 2-12 gets to go in and get her hair and make-up done, they get to pick out a princess dress of their choosing (Sleeping Beauty in this case) and they dress them up as a little princess. Now the cool thing is that the little beauty parlor is near the back of the store and that store is attached to that giant gift shop that has like 10 different sections in it. They also have one little station set up at the front of the store that faces out toward the outside of the store and consequently, the passing crowd. Well, my daughter got to be up in the front, so every little girl that passed the store would look in and see my daughter getting her hair and make up done and they'd freak out and tug on their parents' arm or whatever and they'd want the same thing. My daughter was stoked...and I was beaming because the lady that was doing her hair acted the part... they called themselves fairy godmothers-in-training etc and they'd throw glitter in her hair and say it was pixie dust and then they give them a sash to wear around the park and a tiara etc.
Anyway, she was glowing for the entire rest of the day and the neat thing is that whenever a Disney character sees one of these little girls in their princess outfits, they address them as royalty, so during one of the afternoon parades, Peter Pan came over and bowed to her and called her "Your Majesty" and she was so freaking excited... We waited until the end of the night, just before the Christmas Parade and fireworks etc. to go to the Town Square Theater on Main Street...it's the theater on the right just as you enter Magic Kingdom. They have meet and greets there where you can meet several princesses at once, so she had her little autograph book ready and Sleeping Beauty was there along with Rapunzel and Snow White. She wanted to skip passed Rapunzel and Flynn Rider so bad, but we had to meet them, but then Flynn Rider stole her autograph marker and I called him out on it. He didn't look too pleased.
When she finally got over to Sleeping Beauty... she was so nervous. She walked up to her all stiff with her arms at her sides and she was so shy but so excited and you couldn't rub the smile off of her face. Of course, Aurora noticed that she was wearing her very own dress and she curtsied, bowed and treated her like royalty and even showed her how to curtsy herself. Then she gave her a big fat kiss on the forehead. Let me tell you, that might as well have been a holy kiss from God or something because she REFUSED to wash it off until it naturally came off days later.
This story didn't turn out so quick after all, but yes... Disney World was straight up amazing and I am extremely glad I experienced it. They really strive to give you that magic experience for sure. If there was one time where my daughter could've gotten away with asking me for anything and received it, it was that trip, and she basically did. We spoiled her rotten, and we didn't leave my son out by any means...because of course, there's Cars and Toy Story and The Incredibles and other boy related stuff that he was just enamored with, but he was easier because he was 3 at the time.
If we ever get to do it again, (and we might since my wife's dad lives in Florida [in fact they got to go back for a day last summer because we still had a day left on our passes from the previous December]), I think I would want to just relax and take our time going through each park. When we were there, we had three days, one for each park and it seemed like they had a set agenda for us, but they just wanted to make sure my daughter got all the stuff in that they thought she would like. I think my favorite thing aside from the above was the fireworks display at Magic Kingdom. If you ever get the chance to go, go during Christmas, because it is magical. They have fake snow, and the castle is decorated with icicles and they project scenes from all the movies onto the castle with Christmas music playing on the loudspeakers, and Tinker Bell flies down from the castle across the cloud like on the front of all the movies and then there are just fireworks going off all around you and it's boom, BOOM, BOOM, boom. sprinkle, sprinkle sprinkle... and a firework in the shape of Mickey here and another in the shape of another character there... and it goes on for what seems like forever... and you forget the issues you had before you entered the gates of the park, and you don't worry about finances (UNTIL AFTERWARD! LOL), and it doesn't matter if you were fighting with your wife before the trip or you were worried about medical stuff or work stuff or whatever the case may be... because it all disappears while you're there and you walk around and you see all of these memories from your childhood flooding back and you can't help but smile.

I have great memories of Disney World! We spent about 10 days (staying in Kissimmee), which wasn't enough time to enjoy everything Disney (incl. Universal and Sea World), Busch Gardens, and to drive around Florida enough to visit the Kennedy Space Center, Daytona and more. I wish we had more time, but it worked perfectly for us and the kids, who were off for a school break.
It was wonderful, and it was even better because I watched The Broncos beat Atlanta to win our back to back SBs, on our hotel tv (as the family wandered around Disney and did some shopping). The SB week seems like a perfect getaway time for us, because I've watched a number of SBs while on vacation......sadly including this year's "still trying to forget" game.
But as for Disney......all I remember is feeling like a kid, going from ride to ride, and touring the huge sights! I remember that it was so clean and "happy". The staff always put on a friendly face.
Definitely one of our family's favourite vacations together!
Had family living in So. Cal., went to Disneyland several times in the mid to late 60's, always chickened out when it came my turn to ride the Matterhorn...course that had been after waiting in a lonnng line in HOT weather with some poor relative
As for the T.V. shows,,,,
Was a big fan of the narrated animal shows, and of course the movies, and cartoons, ect.
Did I hear something about Toy Story 4 and Frozen 2?

To this day I still miss Sunday's with Walt........
I really miss this, too. I soooo wanted to go to Disneyland after watching the episodes with a look inside the rides. I finally made it there, and have to say, I love it much more than WDW.
