And I get he may be technically different from another universe but from a fan perspective it's still Tom Cavanaugh with roughly the same capabilities and goal.
Which is why I don't think he will be zoom. I can't see them making him pretty much the same character.

Well if that's the case then I'll back off. But I think I still would've liked to see a new major villain and then maybe bring Cavanaugh back later.

Personally I think arrow is doing better this season but that is more because they have a villain that looks like he is going to be solid.

Flash just feels they are slowly building towards something but it seems to be dragging and not really finding traction as well.
That's because the actor they have for the villain is a highly underrated actor (who should be a far bigger name than he is today)

I haven't started watching Arrow yet. Only really have time these days during football season to keep up with Flash. and even that's been challenging.

Who is the actor? I don't think that spoils anything. And just curious if I know him.

O I agree I think villains are what can make these shows great. Like wells was awesome last season and hopefully they don't try riding him into the ground by making him zoom or black flash.

Only reason I say black flash is his motives lune up better than the zooms and reverse flashes. Black wants to kill all speedsters versus the others since they needed the flash to exist for them to have their powers.

              • So while I didn't recognize the name I looked him up and am definitely familiar with him.

And the fact I didn't recognize the name kind of proves Freyaka's point.

Yeah I Was the same way but I'm usually pretty bad with names so it was nothing new for me lol.

But u will say he has been making his mark known on arrow.

But will point out you might want to catch up on arrow before legends of tomorrow as there will be spoilers probably from these shows.

                  • I'm still not sure I'm even going to watch Legends of tomorrow. The log of super hero shows is starting to get too large.

It's not that he hasn't been in anything, he was Dum Dum Dugan in the Marvel CU, he was also Lt. Hawk in Star Trek First Contact (my favorite of his roles was Tin Man on the Syfy channel Wizard of Oz Sequel) and I hear he was a good villain on Suits.

He's had some roles, but he should be a lot bigger name by now, he's a great actor.

                        • So the flash last night I thought was pretty good. Thought at the beginning of the episode we were going to get wally west but when they said his name the name didn't click right away.

So I started thinking maybe cyborg but once the story went on the name clicked and made sense from where I heard it before.

Overall thought it was a solid episode and the ending was great. That shark was really well done and I really wonder what this wells is in this story. I'm not buying the zoom persona

                          • I liked it better than the third episode but still wasn't crazy about I it.

I did like the fire storm stuff and hopefully we see more of him.

But I disagree on shark King. I thought it was extremely cheesy. Bad CGI and corny voice. He looked like a surfing store prop with mouth movement.

I guess I just viewed it as decent since there have been some really bad cgi this season. Atom smasher was bad and a lot of super speed scenes with barry have looked off.

The shark king looked from what I remember closer to Grodd level than atom smasher.

                              • You can't so much tell in the smaller version here on the boards, but the larger version IMO is a dead ringer. I'm calling it now, Henry Allen is Zoom.
