  • Is Direct TV Best Source For HD NFL games?

Hey everyone, hope you're doing well!

Recently I've been looking to buy a new television and get direct TV hooked up to it (I have a friend that works there and can get me the best deals.)

What I was wondering is Direct TV the best source for watching NFL games? I don't really care about a ton of other stations (HBO would be nice as would AMC.)

Basically what I am concerned with is watching NFL games in high quality definition and having the real experience that only the NFL can bring.

    What would you recommend?

If you don't mind the local games you can get that from free hd broadcast. All you need is a good antenna. Also, you can watch all the games the DT after via NFL rewind. $60 a year.

I have that right now but I am a sports aficionado (I think that's the term lol) and I am wanting the ability to watch the NFC as well as the AFC.

There's a few teams I like to follow besides the Broncos.

      1. The NY Jets
      2. Patriots
      3. Jaguars
      4. Sometimes Seattle

*I don't necessarily like those teams I just enjoy following them. There's a difference.

I've had DTV for very long time. While pricey I think it is worth it.

I am out of state so have to have NFL ticket. I've added the redzone. As I watch it until the Bronco games have started usually 40 minutes or so and then I do not have to watch commercials I can fast forward thru them.

I usually get to the end about the same time it is over.

Pricey but worth it to me.

DirecTV is the only way to get Sunday ticket through a cable provider... Sunday Ticket is the only way to watch all the games on a Sunday.

Game rewind will allow you to watch all those games commercial free. If you have an Xbox you can even stream to your big screen. Only caveat is the wait til after Sunday night football (which you can watch on nbcsports app then also an hour before Monday night games).

Yah like I mentioned in the OP I can get some pretty good deals from a friend of mine cause he works there so hopefully that should help out.

I've tried the antennae thing but it's kind of glitchy sometimes and drives me crazy. I'm one of those people who can't use their phone if it has tons of dirt on the screen I have to clean it first so that tells you everything you need to know about me!
