The initial publication of this article led to my having a couple of other conversations that have shaped my take on Clough’s recent absence from 104.3 the Fan.

Personally, I don’t think Sandy is ill. I also don’t think he would have vacationed through the station’s coverage of the NFL draft.

This is only a theory and it is mine alone … I think there has been a falling out between Sandy Clough and management at the Fan. I know that Clough was rankled over the dismissal of Scott Hastings by the station and I also suspect that he was unhappy about being paired with Brandon Stokley. I think it’s very possible that Clough is sitting out in protest and that he might even quit.

There’s a gap in programming at Altitude 950 between the morning program and the afternoon program that is currently filled with the syndicated Rich Eisen show. I would not be the least bit shocked to learn that slot was being held open for Clough should he be able to gracefully remove himself from whatever contract he is bound to with the Fan.

From what i heard his contract is up very soon and he is very unhappy annd is taking leave until his contract is done

We will be hearing Clough on AM 950 as soon as his contract is up at 104.3. That is only my opinion, but I am guessing they have a spot ear-marked for him. #Legend

The fan has gone to hell. The morning show with Mark Schlereth is terrible. Mark tries to be funny but it's terrible. Letting go Vic Lombardi and Joel Dressen was the dumbest thing they could have done.

Not to mention the garbage in the afternoon that is Dmac.

I miss Sandy. I know he's still really upset with the fan letting go of Hastings, and not happy with his current arrangement with Brandon Stokley.

The last rumor I heard was that he's going to 950 when his contract is up, as ESPN or (Bonneville, if you believe that nonsense) won't let him out of his current deal.

The fan is going to crap. CJ is awful and Brandon Stokley should not be on radio. Schlereth is an ESPN schill and the only reason he's back on the air here is because the station was bought out. I wont name names, but I have had conversations with a few personalities who cannot stand him. Consequently, some of those that can't stand Mark aren't at the station anymore.

I love the addition of Cecil. I know he's not everyone's cup of tea but its good to have a show devoted to football.

it's all NFL... Mostly broncos. 2 hours is plenty.

The fan used to be my go to source for Bronco media news. I really tire of dmac after time though. And I'm really sick of hearing them 2 singing .... can we get to the sports please?

And then - the drive isn't even on the app anymore. Can't download that through the app. The entire weekends are chock full of hunting and fishing stuff. This is Broncos Country. WE NEED BRONCOS coverage...... or at least general NFL on the weekends

It beats what I have where I live though - the Dan Lebotard show is crap and it drones on every single day

I used to listen to the morning show a lot when vic lombardi and joel dreesen were still in but i was bummed when they were let go which i dont know why.
I never listened to the afternoon show when hastings was on since all they did it seems was talk about basketball. Sandy is ok guy goes on tangents a lot.

Honestly the drive is my favorite show if dmac or big al left id stop listening. I know people arent particularly fond of either big al or dmac but i think they complement each other well
