That's who is laughing at the end so yes. I hope they are going to go full dark horse comics and have palpatine have some hidden clone vats to ensure he lives forever.

Lando and Palpatine are enough for me to scream like a school girl. Which is what I did.

I think when Palpatine was thrown down the pit, he turned into Darth Mary Poppins and flew back up unbeknownst to Luke Skywalker and Sebastian Shaw.

It was pretty good man. In some aspects one of the best. The lightsaber battles were epic!

I walked out of the theater thinking it was slightly better than ok, but I think I'll like it the more I see it. As of now, I give it a 6/10 rating. It was better than the prequals, The Last Jedi, The Force Awakens & the Solo movie, but not as good as the originals & Rogue One. So I guess it's the #5 Star Wars movie for me right now.

I went into this movie with low expectations...in the end, it was better than I expected, but not great. The plot felt disjointed and rushed, like they had to cram too much story into a single movie, and the viewer is just left flying around like they're in a broken X-Wing.

For those fans out there that gave TLJ an F minus rating, and put a flaming bag of Chewbacca droppings on Disney's door...The Rise of Skywalker is a significantly better movie, but not without its flaws.

If I had to grade the three trilogies collectively:

Original: A
Prequels: B-
Disney: C-

I hope the next 10 Star Wars trilogies that Disney releases will be better.

i agree and what absolutely kills me is how many people hate this but love the mandalorian. grated, ive not yet seen the last episode but that show to me is trash compared to this movie.

Loved the movie. Saw it in laser IMAX (never heard of it before this). It looked and sounded amazing! Loved how it concluded.

I just watched it last night, it was good, i'll admit. but overall i think they could have done a far better job with a show about a mandalorian bounty hunter. I am waiting to see what they come up with "the old republic era" movie they supposedly have in the works. if that is true they better not mess that one up!

it should be movies about bastila, revan and malak, then they could make movies about bane and zannah that later sets up the back story of plagueis and palpatine and they can make all those movies rated R like they should be. that is my dream at least
