The Matrix is good but it doesn't have the best fight scenes ever.

    Drunken Master 2 does.

We already had a favorite movie thread floating around here somewhere.

Hi and welcome I edited your title, I'm *assuming you weren't talking about only betting movies
We recently had a thread about movies and I'll be darn if I can find it right now.
Anywho, I like lots of Sci-fi movies, and some comedies also, Funny Farm, Planes Trains and Automobiles....and more.
Tombstone is one of my favorite westerns.

                    Yeah, they are all good.

For me, for best war flick, I still like Patton.

Edit... or In Harm's Way with John Wayne & Kirk Douglas.

Citizen Kane, Tora! Tora! Tora!, Casblanca, His Girl Friday, Schindler's List, 2001, all viable candidates.

I gotta go Ditto on the matrix.

Comedies that are good: Old School and Coming to America
Superintendent Chalmers: "Thank the Lord"? That sounded like a prayer. A prayer in a public school. God has no place within these walls, just like facts don't have a place within an organized religion."

Am I the only one here who has watched a movie from before 1970? Or even 1980, by the looks of it.
Jwinn and I, I should say.
