I dont know too much rap, none of the cd name that you listed above. But I do like Outkast, pretty good. Good CD name is Stankonia (Or how ever it is spelt)

Screw that stuff Bronx; www.sicmuse.com -- they have their whole album online for free and it's pretty darn good; if that link doesn't work; just google them and find their site.

Any snoop album is good. Rythm and Gangsta is a great album, but his old **** is off the chains.

Jay Z- any, hes the man. Black Album is wicked good though.

Damn, they are pretty good. Thanks for the link!

              --

On the other note, pretty much all of Jay-Z and Tupacs albums are great. I never really liked Snoop Dogg, actually, I don't like ANY of Snoops music. Instead of Snoop, may I suggest someone like Nas, NWA, B.I.G, or even DMX.

Oh, Snoops' first album, no doubt. I actually heard that Rhythm & Gangsta, and it's pretty good, but the first one...not a single bad track...not even a single ok track.. They are all great.

I have no Jay-Z, so I offer no opinions.

I liked Tupac better as a guest rapper in Digital Underground (yeah, I'm old school). I just never got into his solo stuff *SHRUG*

You know what 90's stuff has been forgotten, but are great albums? Ice Cube's solo stuff. "Amerikkka's Most Wanted" in particular. But they are all great.

Ice-T's "O.G. Original Gangsta" is also probably a more realistic 'gangsta' record than anything N.W.A. ever did. It's not funky like most West Coast, its dark, hard-driving, claustrophobic, dense, and fast-paced, kind of like the ghetto that inspired his music. While his flow will sound dated to you by now, the lyrics are full of raw, street level aggression

"I had nothin', and I wanted it/You had everything, and you flaunted it/Turned the needy into the greedy/With cocaine, my success came speedy"

"Every dollar I get, another brother drops...I gotta get more money than you got/So what, if some other brother gets shot/That's how the game is played, another brother slayed"

                          My brain's a handgrenade-catch
I'm a hit you with an over load
                          Of bottomless thought
Reversin' all the **** you're taught
                          Then throw words at you
                          Syl-la-ble-at-a-time
                          Your brain recites the rhyme

Snoop- Rhythem & Gangsta is really tight otherwise his newer stuff has been weak. Doggystyle and the much slept on Doggfather are must haves

Jay-Z- Don't care for him to much. I think he's way overrated, but the Hard Knock Life CD was pretty good.

Tupac- Of course i'm gonna say all his stuff because it's all great. But my favorite ones are All Eyes On Me and the Makaveli CD.

Other great CDs that are must haves:

                              Dogg Pound - Dogg Food
                              Outkast- Aquemini , Stankonia
                              Bone Thugs- E. 1999 Eternal
                              Dr.Dre- the Chronic
                              Notorius B.I.G.- Ready to die
                              Wu-Tang Clan - 36 Chambers, Forever
                              Kanye West- College Dropout
                              Nas- Stillmatic, I am

Those are just some off the top of my head. Oh yeah and Chingy????? Come on he's way to corny for me IMO.
