I'd be a Bond girl. It doesn't matter which movie as long as it's one where NJ isn't in it!

        I mean c'mon - a sox bondgirl with a yankee bond - it just wouldn't work!

I have read the new novel, which is essentially the screen play, but with more depth added to the characters through their thoughts.

And the suit only makes one appearance at the very, very end. I suppose Christensen could be in it, but technically, if the scene is shot as written, no one needs to be in the suit, since he never moves.

              It's a big costume.

I believe he moves....a lot. If he doesn't then the trailers are wrong...and since trailers are made from bits and pieces of the movie, I think it's safe to assume that Vader moves around. Plus I read an article about how stoked Christensen was to get to don the Vader suit.

You know the scenes, it shows Vader rising "reborn" or whatever, and then it shows him standing next to the Emperor and talking to him...that looks like movement to me

I think it would be a blast to play Batman or Superman.

I haven't seen the trailers or anything regarding the movie. I haven't been in a theater in over 18 months.

Again, I am just saying what the books says, which was supposedly based on the screenplay. I assume the author had the screen play, give or take, whenever it was finished and the movie was given a go. I guess Lucas changed things, which happens.

In the book, Vader does walk around talking to Palpatine after he agrees to be his apprentice, but he has not yet been in the battle that leaves him disfigured and limbless, which is the reason for suit. He still looks like Anakin Skywalker, although corrputed. The battle where he loses to Obi-Wan and needs to be in the suit in order to live is the climax of the book. The very last thing you see of Vader is his 'rebirth' in that suit. He was, in reality, dead. Charred beyond recognition. Palpatine uses the dark side to bring him back, but he cannot survive without the robotic parts and the ventilator. He cannot see without that helmet, because the light hurts his eyes. So, in the book, he wakes up, in pain. He asks for Padme. He is told she is dead. The rest is all internal monlogue stuff. And he essentially curses his own existance, for killing the woman he loved. And that's it. No walking or talking with Palpatine in the suit.

I assume that Lucas changed some stuff in the movie, and it was too late to change the manuscript.

Everybody's gotta elevate from the norm...
