are there any styx fans here? i just got their new album Big Bang Theory. its pretty cool, a bunch of cover songs from older bands. its cool that theyve been around for so long. fave song is I am the Walrus. anybody else heard it yet?

I saw a review of that, and whiel I an appreciate their influences, I am not sure I want to spend money on a whole album of covers, unless you are Me First & The Gimme Gimmes, who do nothing BUT covers in a punk style. (They aren't a real band per se They don't tour or anything. Just a side project of some dudes in NOFX)
That being said, I did enjoy the release prior to this one, Cyclorama.
Everybody's gotta elevate from the norm...
