I was in college when I helped write these. It was a collabaration between myself, the piano player and the guitarist.

I always like reading peoples stuff. My lyrics have never been put to music, other than the tune in my head.(maybe someday) I also have one that I wrote and sang(ocapello)*sp? for my wife at our wedding, that was tough,getting up there with no music in front of everyone. But I did it, and it went well

OK, you got me feeling brave here, AZ.

I am going to post lyrics that I wrote in HS. Very simple stuff.

They ended up being used in college. The music the guys came up with was strong, but I was never happy with the words.

These are kind of embarrassing, but I was 16 when I wrote it, and had never actually lived with a girl, so I was just trying to imagine being bitter about that kind of a breakup. The music came later, like 1995.

Laugh if you must. I am looking at them, and its pretty silly.

But it was my first real attempt at lyrics, not poerty.

you are a braver soul than I.


I only sang lead on cover tunes in a band. I never sang my own stuff, much less acapella.
