HOWEVER....It's a song by Bob Dylan, recorded in November 1973. The song first appeared (in two different versions, one slow and one fast) on Dylan's fourteenth studio album Planet Waves (1974).

Rod Stewart recorded a song titled "Forever Young" that was released as a single and included on his 1988 album Out of Order. Stewart's manager, Arnold Stiefel, said, "[I]t would be fair to say that while the melody and the music is not at all the same [as Dylan's song], the idea of the song is similar. The architecture of the lyrics of the song is very much from Dylan–there are definite similarities." The similarities were enough to cause Stiefel to contact Dylan, who requested a share of the royalties, and Stewart agreed.

    Here's Bob's song:

Good song, good vocals on the high notes, and Maria McKee was a cutie too!

My Sweet Lord - George Harrison (1970)

Along with Here Comes The Sun, this song verifies to me that George was a seriously good composer. I love both songs!!

I think that was the very best song of his solo career.

^It was on the Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack — the first soundtrack album in history consisting entirely of previously released songs to top the US Billboard 200 chart. People just love the classics, even the youngsters because they don't make 'em like they used to.

This song was a part of the 1969 movie Easy Rider. Still resonates as one of the best "riding" songs out there.
