Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

"Firefly" airs on the Sci Fi Channel starting Friday, 7/22
I watched it, mainly because its made by the same guy who created Angel, and thought it seemed to be a decent show although i think ill have to watch a few more episodes to get a feel for the series.
That's understandable, especially since they only showed half of the pilot episode.
This Friday they'll be showing the entire pilot. But assuming you have a DVD player you might want to consider renting the series. The colors are much better and it's the original widescreen version. The version shown on Sci Fi was overly dark and lost (in my opinion) some valuable parts of the scenes from time to time. Joss Whedon apparently prefers widescreen himself considering he switched Angel starting in the second season.

Ditto.
It's 10 times better on DVD.
It's only 35 bucks on Amazon.
About the cost of 2 movies. And you get 14 GREAT episodes therefore it's a goof value.
