  • Top Cars in TV History?

Ok after extensive research (Im bored tonight) Ive come up with valuble info on deciding the honorable and most exciting muscle car throughout TV land history!

The General Lee: The engine in the General lee was 426 Hemi, with an Eldebrock torque intake. Hemi is short for "hemispherical", an engine design that provides more horsepower than any other V8, including the 440 Magnum.
The general lee could hit up 55 miles with in 10 seconds not to mention that in TV land it could fly up a ramp and travel 30yards and survive the ever so disasterous landing! Just ask the Duke boys, Bo and Luke!

Kit, Knight Rider: The foundation's most important asset in achieving its goals of fighting crime and protecting the innocent. In addition to being virtually indestructible, Kit possesses advanced artificial inteligence capable of accepting voice commands as well as interacting with its operatorand if that wasnt enough it could also make decisions on its own!

The Grand Torino: I dont remember much of the show being that I was born a year after it ended, but I do recall seeing the Grand Torino. Today the Grand Torino has achieved cult status in these nostalgic times, the torino a huggy bear of a car that ranks right up there with out space hoppers!

Smokey and the Bandits, The black Trans Am was the cause of destruction of many police cars. It was done in an hour and a half in this film, the more humiliation the better. This bad boy of the 1970's could reach 80 miles an hour in under 25 seconds!

Magnum PI: 308 GTS Ferrari was built for high speed action scenes, powered by a 3 liters V8 producing 250bhp!

The munsters: What can we say the drove a friggin coffin with wheels, I dont know what to say about this one, other than it seemed to have more muscle than the bat mobile.

Batman: The bat mobile, a bunch of annoying gadgets making sounds of all kinds. Most of you can decide where this car fits into the catagory, however I dont think it has any place among such car as the General Lee and Kit.

The Dolerian: This car could travel as far back into the past as 1885 and as far into the future as 2015. This car could fly, burn garbage over fuel and wreak havoc throughout the night sky of one hill valley california!

The Flinstones: What other car could a fat man fit his whole familly, pet sabre tooth and dinosaur along with his goofy neighbor and his wife and kids? This car didnt need much to get it going except a strong pair of legs to get it rolling on its rolling pin boulder type wheels!

Christine: This car could take matters into its own hands and thats just what it did, when its nerd of owner arnie was being bullied by high school jocks. It hunted down every jock strap that beat up arnie and took care of business, it even grew tired of arnie himself by knocking his sorry lil butt into an oblivion.

I've always been & always will be a fan of the Corvette so I'll have to pick the Batmobile. I had a poster of all the corvettes when I was young and it had all the specs of the different 'Vettes throught the years and it had the batmobile too

Kit is right at # 2, but the General Lee should be at the third spot.

Since you included the '77 Trans Am in your list, I am assuming you are including movies too. If this is the case, your list has one glaring omission.

The greatest car chase scene of all time!

I havne't seen the movie yet, so I wasn't aware of that fact... I's officially like to retract my previous statement regarding the General Lee, it belongs on the top spot

they did this on uk tv. I believe, the general lee won.
"On a given day, a given circumstance, you think you have a limit. And you then go for this limit and you touch this limit, and you think, 'Okay, this is the limit'. And so you touch this limit, something happens and you suddenly can go a little bit further.
