The main reason I don't like the Bronco's is because every time I see their logo it reminds me of my drunk boyfriend who used to write his name in the snow with his urine then belch the letters of Elway's name----- Sandra Bernhard 1993Tags: None

Sorry, but Speilberg doesn't amaze me, I have to go with Oliver Stone! Not only did he write the screenplay for "SCARFACE" but he has directed wonderful films such as "Platoon", "Heaven and Earth" , "Natural Born Killer" "U Turn" and "Talk Radio"[QUOTE]

WOW, this is tough
My favorite would have to be Kubrick. He made one of my favorites of all time, any movie I can see more than one time is a GREAT movie, in my world -
FULL METAL JACKET
He also did the Shining, which I though was a great movie and I liked Eyes Wide Shut
I love Mafia movies, so I have to include Socrsese for Goodfellas and Casino, and I also like Taxi Driver
Coppola has to take the cake with mafia movies of course, Godfather
Stone did some great ones with Natural Born Killers, Any Given Sunday, and Platoon, but none of them is an all time favorite for me although I do love Scarface too.
Howard is an extremely talented individual but hasnt done an all time for me.
Speilberg for all around entertaining films, I love Jaws, who couldnt, esp. if you were a kid when that movie came out.....
I didnt know who Zwick was, lloked him up at didnt see much that caght my eye, along with Nichols and Forman
I HATE Woody Allen, I have never been able to watch more than 5 minutes of anything he's done or been in.....I just dont like him.

Ooooo, a good director you forgot has to be Ted Demme
He did Blow, which I loved and Silence of the Lambs
And Mel Brooks, for comedy he's got to be the best
Blazzing Saddles is a classisLast edited by orangenblue420; 01-13-2004, 09:33 AM.

Ted did BLOW and Airheads!
JONATHAN is the Oscar Winning director of "Something Wild" "Silence of Lambs" and "Philadelphia" he also did "Beloved" which was his worst mistake!
Edward Zwick by the way is the director of "Glory" "Legends of the Fall" and "The Last Samari"
Mike Nichols is the director of "Wolf" and other Comedies
Milos Foreman is the director of "People vs. Larry Flynt", "Man on the Moon" "One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest" and "Amadeus"[QUOTE]

This poll is too hard.
But I love every movie from Kubrick, and I can't say that about every director here.
What about Michael Mann? Heat, the Insider, Last of the Mohicans, Manhunter, The Thief, Ali, as well as episodes of Cheers, M*A*S*H, All in the Family and others in the 70's? He should at least be on the list, no? Also, so should Ridley Scott and Robert Altman.Last edited by Jared; 01-13-2004, 09:59 AM.

Well, it made 85 mil, so somebody must have seen it. But not popular doesn't = not good.
He also had an acting part in "Smokey and the Bandit'!!!!!!That counts for something too......or maybe not.

I guess the reason I dont know that much about the others is cause none of those movies float my boat......
Could be one of the reason why I suck at the game Scene It too, LOL
