Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

The Software Updater will analyze your iPod and determine whether or not it needs to be updated. If it does, the Software Updater will give the option of either “Updating” or “Restoring” your iPod. “Restore” will wipe out all music and data on the iPod, while “Update” will write the firmware without distrubing the iPod’s content. If this is a brand new iPod, it shouldn’t matter which method you use.
oh I know I just dowloaded the software and I was wondering where the restore button was.
I cant find it.
thanks that linked helped....the one where the guy had the same problem as me.
- Doubleclick on your iPod. It should bring up whats actually on it.
- iPods are pretty good about playing almost any mp3. They don't have to be copyright protected (unlike Sony's), so you should be in the clear there.
- Are you trying to listen to it with it connected to your computer? I don't think it will play.
- If the above doesen't work, try disabling the autofill option. I found it to be a pain in the butt.
- another important thing, are these mp3s you are getting your songs from stored on your computer or on a disk? Before you disconnect your ipod make sure the file you got it from is still on your computer (or if its from a disk leave it in your computer). Your ipod will erase it automatically if it can't find the file on your computer. (its an annoying feature of the shuffle)
-ok I'll try that
-yeah I dont what the heck is wrong
-no lol. not that stupid lol
-what harm does the Autofill option have? plus where is just the "fill" option?
in the Source box it Shelbi's iPod (what I named it) and the picture of an iPod. I assumed thats where you put the songs to get in on the iPod right? and when I did it said "updating iPod do not disconnect".
can you get songs from iTunes? I could only find the music store and I dont to pay a dollar a song so I have been using the songs ive already download from a program called bearshare. it said I could use those mp3 files....
I dont know whats wrong. Im sure i got the songs on right but I couldnt hear them on the iPod. I turned the volume up and I tried different headphones just in case the ones that came with it were busted or something.
after reading that link you gave me Im sure I did it right....but i could not hear the songs when I wanted to listen to them.....
hhhmmm...I did update the one thing you have to...but it kepot saying that I didnt....maybe thats the problem? it probally should be the problem but....
I'll try the CD thing...maybe that will work better.
As the most stripped-down version of Apple’s iPod to date, the iPod shuffle represents an all-new philosophy in iPod design: its lack of a screen ...
If you have more questions, ask away, I'll try to help
yeah I have....

After you plug in your ipod click on your the name of your ipod. You should be able to tell what songs you have on there. Drop and drag to fill it. I never mastered the autofill options (it was actually rather annoying ), but those options can be used as well.
I'd give it a good charge, that way we can take that part out of the equation.
*I found this on the light (should be in your manual)
Front Light
Flashing Orange: Connected and mounted. Do not Disconnect.
Solid Orange: Charging / Not mounted. Ok to Disconnect.
Flashing Green: Paused.
Solid Green: Fully Charged.
Flashing Green/Orange: No music or some other problem: Load music, cycle the iPod on and off, or restore your iPod.
Solid Green on button press: Normal operation… a simple indicator.
Solid Orange on button press: Hold is active. Deactivate it by holding Play/Pause.
Rear Light (Active only when button has been pressed)
Green: Good Charge
Yellow: Low Charge
Red: Very Low Charge
No light: No Charge
fill it?
wheres that?
is this all in iTunes?
yeah that light thing was in my manual....Green is normal operation? which is?
I know I sound really clueless its just that I dunno...I havent fully mastered how to work this thing yet...
