            I've seen Crash, Capote, and Brokeback Mountain. Out of those, I'd go with Crash, easily.
            A proponent of Denver drafting Cutler since 10/05.

                People see the movies that have the most money involved, whether it be because of special effects, or advertising, etc etc.

                Spending money isn't enough to buy an award though.

                    I saw Crash and Munich, there's no way Crash was better than Munich, and I'm willing to bet Munich was probably worse than at least one other movie nominated.

                    The problem with Crash is that it's a one-note movie, 5 minutes in you get the point - everybody in LA is racist and makes racial slurs about every race but theirs. I thought it was a good movie, not Oscar-winner good, but quality.

                    I just can't imagine in this day and age a movie about racism trumped a movie about terrorism and the consequences of seeking "justice".
