Anthems and Protests ---
While we certainly understand the frustration by fans on all sides of the discussion, we have decided to keep the Broncos Country message boards separate from politics. Recent events have brought the NFL to the forefront of political debates, but due to the highly emotional and passionate discussion it tends to involve, we think it’s best to continue to keep politics and this forum separate. Yes, the forum is meant for discussion, but we’d like to keep that discussion to football as much as possible.
With everything going on in our country, it would be nice to keep our complaints and cheers purely related to football here. If you feel passionately, there are plenty of other outlets available to you to express your opinions. We know this isn’t the most popular decision, but we ask that you respect it.
Thank you for understanding.

Aside from boys n' the hood, and the friday films, i thought he was good in three kings, XXX2 was crap though.
I like all the friday films. barbershop 1 and 2 were both pretty good. boys 'n the hood. three kings. ummmm i can't think of any other movie he was in right now off the top of my head.

You might remember the movie trespass w/ ice T that was real gangsta back in the day, i may have to look that one up on disc.
its hard to get excited over anything Ice Cube lately. the guy fell off so hard its ridiculous. he was the man in NWA and when he split, there was no question he was the not only the best lyricist in the group, but arguable the most vital member of the crew.
Amerikkkas Most and Death Certificate are classics and still get play in my library, but after Death Certificate he was on a slow spiral down culminating with the trash that Westside Connection put out. Come to think of it, his War and Peace albums were actually worse.
that junk was bad.
you can call me a snob, but im a hip hop purist and Cube fell off. hard.
i hope he does indeed go back to his roots and abandon that "We Be Clubbin" gettin money type rhymes.
Cube was legendary back in the day, but please do not make another album with Mack 10. just say no to Mack 10
I hope Ice cube never makes another movie, he is a crap actor!!
With that being said, am I the only one who really liked War and Peace.......?? I think the War album was way better than the Peace album though but there were some great tracks on it.
Amerikkas Most Wanted was probably by far one of his best and Predator wasn't bad. I was listening to Cube when he was in NWA and he's always been a fav.
Man, all these rap threads are starting to spark my interest in the old school stuff again.

i sound like an old man, but the golden age was awesome.

I agree. That's part of the reason I stopped listening to rap/hip hop is because nobody seemed to have their own style, it all sounded like crap to me. I still listen to the 'golden age' every now and then.

yeah i grew up on RunDMC, BDP, De La Soul, Eric B and Rakim, Slick Rick, Kane, but my all time fav was Public Enemy. those were the days
real, Good hiphop is still alive. you just gotta dig beneath the commercial radio trash thats pumped out strictly for revenues.
gimme a holler if you think you wanna try some current great quality hiphop
sorry BookerT, didnt mean to try and hijack your thread. its just Cube was one of my favs back in the day. i'd like to see him return.
