New school (2000-present) is in a horrible state of loss.

Early to mid 90's rap was the greatest. Thats about all I listen to for rap.

The new school technically better rhymers but there subjects are tired and unorginal.

The old school had much better topics (Public Enemy, Ice Cube, KRS-1, ect)
