do you watch network tv?

I read this article on tvguide.com about guys 18-24 not watching network tv as much, because they'd rather watch ESPN and play video games. Which got me thinking, is there really anything on network tv that guys watch? What do you guys watch?

Well, i myself am a girl...so i'll answer for my boyfriend (haha). he watches what i make him watch Kidding. Seriously though, I think if it wasn't for me, he wouldn't bother watching Network TV -with the exception of the Simspons (which he loves) and "Scrubs." Mostly i find he's got ESPN or HBO on, or is playing Tiger Woods Golf on xbox.

well, he's doing exactly what we're all doing according to that article. I thought I'd read somewhere that guys watched more reality tv than girls, but maybe that was an older age group or something. the networks must think women are better consumers or more susceptible (sp?) to advertising or something... or they just catch us with sports news and events and don't even bother trying to come up with programming...fine with me I guess.

network? we dont get that over here. we get AFN. not sure how to compare it to network tv, but AFN commercials make you wanna put a gun to your head theyre THAT bad. other than watching football and a cop show or two, I play videogames, so I guess I pretty much fit the bill.

Reality TV... I have to say (don't hold it against me or my boyfriend) that i DID get us hooked on Joe Millionaire. We both watch it b/c it's like watching a train wreck (not that i've watched one, but you know), those girls are pretty much who you've always hated, and watching them be piled into a room and then exposed...well, it's fun! we tape that during MNF and then watch it later. Sports DO come first! Of course, since i would guess mostly women watch that show, maybe that's why it's in that time slot. I used to work on a TV show that had a Monday night slot, opposite of MNF, but we were aimed towards women anyhow - so we didn't so much care that we lost the men. Hmmm. Anyhow - sorry for the tangent.
